Sasuke did show his feelings for Sakura and even Naruto and Kakashi it's just more subtle than what Sakura showed. He said she was precious to him, he was willing to die for her to live against Gaara, he considered team 7 his new family and he was grateful for what she did for him and considered her love annoying because it stopped him from his revenge. So while I agree Kishi needed to give the ship more in part 1 and even the team itself since team 7 doesn't have as many moments and mission as I'd like, I disagree with some people who act like Sasuke never cared about Sakura and it's totally one sided.
In Sakura's defence, she made probably the most "realistic choice" for go and kill Sasuke herself, she wants herself to bear this burden, not others. In some way, she did actually saved Kiba and others from being hurt by Sasuke, to think Sasuke's current state, you know.
Whatever choices Sakura make result in complete annoyance for the viewer. If Sakura made the "realiatic choice," it was painfully obvious that this would result in an annoying rescue mission to save Sakura who is helpless and in tears for the hundredth time. Of course Sakura cannot touch Sasuke, and the viewer knows Sasuke does not like Sakura. All this does is give Sakura more screen time which is a bad thing

There’s also a lots of scenes in OG Naruto that shows how sasuke actually got jealous, and shy when it comes to sakura.
