holy fuck I'm so fucking relieved I didn't bet whole hog on the old borderless stickers.
hopefully if enough people don't buy Copenhagen and buy Paris to open instead as they are cheaper then sales will be down and valve will stop this train of borderless stickers but if people keep buying in big numbers than it will keep happening. if it is borderless then investors need to boycott them for one major to send a message as this isn't what we want as the sheeple will keep opening then regardless what they are, but that isn't going to happen so I'm just going to skip it and hope enough people are bored that it makes a difference.

Glad I sold my Paris inventory before this (around 90%). Stickers are no longer a viable investment category.
I'm not surprised at all by borderless stickers. The last Major I invested in was RIO and from the beginning I said to avoid Paris because it would be overinvested. Valve saw how much money they made from borderless stickers and will repeat it every major to squeeze out as much money as possible. The next major will look just like this one. Players did this to themselves by they greedy in the market without natural demand for that many capsules. Even update with the sticker position did not help investors. We have too many existing stickers. The only way to revitalize this market is to add a contract or some other way to burn them in large quantities. It would be best if they just added the furnace to the game so you can throw them in there and get xp, so I don't have to play a game full of cheaters and get a drop every week without losing my mind while playing (Don't take this mocking comment seriously)

Try this. Apply Paris Paper Stickers to default Skins and then Scrape off. Do this for 10 mins per day, Paris Paper Sticker problem solved and Storage Container is soon empty, ready to be used for useful stuff.
Only stickers I like are those old ones from OG days they are clear and simple. Most of us play on very low settings anyways and can't see shit with them effects.

Finally, people will start to realise that investing in new stickers / capsules is over.
There are way too many supply in the market, and yearly 2-3 major events.
You need to look for NICHE items, otherwise you will lose your money long term.

Hasn't dropped much in price yet.
I've been saying for the past 9 months on just about every comment how I avoid Paris 2023 and invest into items 2018-older. The threat of more borderless stickers is proof that it's a wise idea. I've also been saying the market is not prepared for another set of borderless stickers and have almost forgotten the Paris 2023 crash. If Copenhagen stickers are borderless then bordered stickers will officially be rarer than borderless stickers.
1) Only some of the stickers look interesting - the rest are complete shit.
2) Stockholm, Antwerp and Paris stickers will grow in the long run.
3) These Compengagen stickers will fail.
4) Investors and many ordinary players will ignore useless medals for guessing teams and buying stickers, because the game is already several months without anti-cheat and Valv doesn't care.
5) Obviously in China there will be a different style of stickers because the tournament operator is different (and as we know. they are responsible for the style) if nothing has changed of course.
