Market is manipulated by ADs. How many of those "sales" are actually at customer's wrists and not in a grey market inventory somewhere ?

  • @gscottea2539

Bottom line... looks like Rolex ADs bought the same amount of watches in 2023 as 2022, which was more than in 2021 and 2020. Aside from an increase in demand, where was the shortage?

Comparing rivian/tesla to rolex makes no sense. The number of parts are not comparable. The number of processes per final product are not comparable either.

If you guys talk about a statistic, flash it on the screen. If you guys talk about a watch, flash it on the screen. I’m into watches and know a lot of models and brands etc, but sometimes I’m even lost. No one cares about the agenda on the right hand side. Just show a pictures of the subject of discussion. Thank you.

How could their average price per watch only be $8,333? Yes it’s wholesale price to AD’s but that still seems low. The real number is even actually lower because “service costs” lower the per watch number.

Can somebody explain something to me, why is it the more a watch is designed to look like a toy the more the watch costs.

Would love to see someone talk globally, not just “Swiss” watches. Pretty sure Rolex is king no matter whom you include, but it would be a far more interesting discussion. I recognize that’s not the point of this video nor are those other watches generally not part of LB’s business model.

Funny, I have Cartier, Omega, JLC, IWC, Hamilton, Swatch but I was never inclined to buy a Rolex as they look rather bland.
I believe that Omega watches are as robust as Rolex. However have you checked Rolexforums for the 4325 Rolex calibre issues ?

Rolex proves once again that they are the number one brand in luxury watches. They put up huge numbers.
I really like the redesign of Arnold &Son.
The Hamilton "Dune" watch looks pretty cool, it has a very sci-fi appearance.
I think Parmigiani will by a far better brand because of the sale.
Great episode thank you Roman and Marco.😊

Rolex will always be king, however there's a beginning, middle and end to run ups. Rolex will simmer once it has it's new factories are online. They've had a great run up over the covid-era. If you to take the crypto and all government stimulus money into account then you understand why Rolex has had a incredible run. If Covid had never happened we most likely would not see what we're seeing today with Rolex. Remember it's one watch company that has had a incredible run, no others have had the insane run up. Rolex will cool and become stable at some point, but when is everyone's guess. Back to what I said - there's a begininng, middle and a end to everything in life. The party can't go on forever-- as all things must come to a end at some point. There will be another sector, craze, or fad that people flock to.....

Hey Roman, stop being greedy and stop firing workers. Your workers are the foundation of your business and they made you who you are. No man is an island. You'll get more views and your subscribers back. A fish rots from the head.
