Coop should create an app that helps people create their home gym. You input budget, fitness goal, and space and it spits out recommendations on equipment.
It's not an exact science, there is way too much variability and preference involved. If someone wants that kind of recommendation, they are better off not buying any home equipment.
Iâd pay for something like that. Even if it just had a schematic to map out the gym with the equipment you want, and you input the dimensions of everything
This is a phenomenal idea, and itâll cut down on the repetitive questions that this app could answer.
This is a phenomenal idea, and itâll cut down on the repetitive questions that this app could answer.
Can I just pay Coop to design my gym to my liking?đ
Thanks for the shout out Coop! I am truly honored to be a part of this list.
Wish my pivot pad had some Kaizen branding on it
Keep innovating brother! - Coop
I know!!! Pivot is my favorite Kazin! Training lots of girls because of you!! Haha
Shoutout to Kaizen! A much more âaffordableâ CZcams channel.
SHOUTOUT KAIZEN!!! Yes!! Heâs actually on CZcams, not just Instagram. Great content. â€
AWESOME !! So happy to be a part of this ! Thanks Coop ! We will continue to innovate for home gym owners .
**Just to make sure every customers get the right info, all our Fast series are made out of machined steel. We don't use cast iron.
When will they start shipping the Fast Series from the US? (Straydog)
I need those dumbbells
Like 2k for some dumbbells? Wtf
Omg I saw the $1400 USD price tag on those Pepin dumbbells and immediately swiped left. WAAAAY overpriced for a bunch of machined steel. Are all Canadians products as overpriced as these Pepin dumbbells?
@19:04 The tib bars are not to strengthen the muscle in front of the femur (which is the thigh bone)
Its to strengthen the muscles in front of your tibia and fibula bones
Just a minor slip up from an otherwise superb equipment reviewer.
I laughed when he said that cause cmon man it's called a tib bar
*tibialis anterior
It's pretty amazing how much high quality content you guys put out on a regular basis. This is why I love channel so much, despite you guys being part of the reason why I'm broke. Keep up the great work!
Love your Channel Coop. I would like to see you do a comparison review on the best Rackable ez curl bar i.e. Rouge, Rep, BOS, TITAN. Thank you
đ
Wow, running through those like a marathon, thanks for the yearly wrap-up! This is super helpful for me who is designing my initial home gym currently. Those shin splints are real I may need that TF-1
So grateful and honored to be on this list! Thank you Coop!
Great stuff as always Coop! The garage gym community is all happy for you. Seeing how this channel has grown and continues to bring the new equipment to our attention is fantastic (even if we don't buy all or any of it). Congrats on the success; we all support you. Also, nice watch and nato strap. Omega today? What was the strap brand if you know? Cheers!
I love to see Giant Lifting getting a shoutout! Everything I have from them feels solid and well made. Local company for pickup helps too!
I agree with the Isolator. It has tons of uses. Iâm still learning with mine!
When is the Pepin Fast Series Dumbbell review dropping! Can't wait for more details and opinion !
I love the idea of the Tib Bar Guy Nordic Back Extension Machine with the extension and the ability to change the angle. If the feet holders were able to go on either end, then you could do sit ups and different angles as well as other weighted exercises. I'd probably get one if they could make that happen. I love that it sits upright and against a wall when not in use too. I've only got 126 square feet to work with so if I add something, it's got to be able to do a lot of things to take up that precious space.
Surplus Strength
Rep Black Wing--sounded like you said bat wing
He butchered Surplus Strength's name as well as the Black Wing.
I love all the rack attachment! Fantastic video. Thank you for posting.
Coop, your content never dissapoints. I always appreciate the information đđŸ
Great stuff!! May not always agree fully, but canât argue with the logic you presentđđŒđȘđŒ
Thank you for all of the information you provide. I would be very interested to hear your take on the Jacob's Ladder.
These reviews are just always on point! đ
Great summary, extremely helpful!
All great stuff Coop! Love everything you listed! Awesome video! V/R Shane
Hey there, awesome video! I am about to build my first home gym, so I have been watching many of your videos lately. I have seen you talk about the Kensui weight vest a lot and I was wondering if you were ever planning on testing their ANKR plate leaded ankle attachment device. There aren't too many reviews of it online so it might be a cool idea!
Very detailed as always! Good stuffđ
Coop youâre amazing at what you do! Great content as always. Iâm splitting hairs by saying this but at 19:10 you say that the Tib bar works the muscle thatâs basically on the front of your Femur right after you said it the right way, the muscle on the Tibia.
That was an especially great video, Coop.
You asked for recommendations of other products. An innovative, American-made product that Iâve bought recently and that I really like is the Adex adjustable club and mace system. I started working out with heavy clubs and maces last year-learning from Mark Wildmanâs and othersâ videos-and Iâm finding them really beneficial for strength, functional, and cardio training. You seem to have a set of heavy clubs in your home gym, but I canât recall you ever mentioning them in your videos. For a future video, you might want to look into the Adex system as well as clubs and maces in general.
Such good insights. Kudos to you
Have you ever reviewed the Fit! Home gym? If not, that could be a good one to check out. Basically a pull and dip station with a wood platform that packs up so you can store it away or take it with you somewhere. Curious how sturdy and durable it is.
The Clench Fitness Footplate is probably the best resistance band footplate I've ever seen (although it's expensive for what it is). It eliminates the need to attach bands to doors or walls for a lot of exercises and in my opinion is far more functional than the Harambe or X3 footplates. Really good for small spaces.
Great Video! Another idea I would like to watch is best garage gym flooring. I am struggling with the best from horse stall mats to epoxy. Any insights?
Excellent work. Thanks
Just got the bullet proof isolator. Man, that is a VERY awesome rack attachment. Selling some of my gym equipment off, due to the isolator can do the same work and take next to no space
How is the resistance from start to finish on exercises?
Awesome video, content, and presentation as usual. At the 19:08 you said Tibs are "muscle in front of the femur" its origin is tibia. Thanks for all you give us!
Very happy you will review the Isolator, which is overall the most innovative home gym equipment in a decade. Canât wait!!!
I have shoulder pain and the neutral grip on the kabuki cadillac allows me to do bench and military press without any pain
Thank Coop . Love your channel and the content overall . What would be your opinion on those burn machines ?
I would also take a look at the CK Maceworks adjustable maces and clubs, as well as the Crossrope adjustable jump ropes. Great video đ€
The Bulletproof Isolator loo pretty decent. I'd love to try one out to see how the various configurations actually feel.
Love the year in review stuff
One hell of a list man!! Great job!!
Any chance you could review "bc strength thruster 3.0"? The idea of having a piece of equipment for both Nordic curls and hip thrusters makes it more tempting to pick up.
Love your Channel. I would like to see you guys do a comparison review on Rackable EZ Curl bars in the market.
Would love to see a review on the Jacked Up Fitness power rack. It is the best I have found as far as accessories, price, and quality. I has just about everything you could want.
I just ordered the isolator 2.0 for my PR 5000. I feel itâs a game changer in the market. Iâm curious to see your review on it. I do have some concerns about how well it works with the Ares attachment. BTW: the isolator is sold out and itâs on a 90 day back order. Must be a very popular product????
You know what would be cool is if you added QR codes in your video as you talk about each product that links to the product page (maybe even with an affiliate code on it or something). Then when Iâm watching on my TV I can check out these awesome products.
Thanks, GGR for all the great information that CONSTANTLY comes out on your channel! â€
Excellent idea, that would be really nice
Hey Coop! Great stuff. A request for a small tip but no information out there...what is best in your opinion for protecting walls when doing wall walks. Perspex, wood/ply, wallpaper??
Cheers
I bought a cheap power rack with a center lat pull down and functional trainer side pulley system. Slowly I have been trying to upgrade it instead of replacing it. For one I replaced the nylon pulleys with aluminum pulleys. Next I would love to find a supplier for the bushings so the wieghts slide better. How about a video to upgrade?
I really appreciated the transparent introduction with regards to affiliation, can't say I've seen it done better than that.
I respect your point of view. Does it mean that to be on this list, a product must have been shipped to him for free and that it requires a link so he can collect commissions?
These manufacturers are slacking by not immediately reaching out to Coop to hire him as their Head of Product Development! Awesome video, which was very informative. Thanks!
Hey Coop!
Great video, love your content.
I think you forgot about the Blitz bike, and I would love to see more reviews of Bells of Steel like their Hydra racks. I think they have done a great job on value innovation. And I would like to have your opinion on Gorila Fitness wich is a canadian company with great products who now ship to the US.
Good job to all of GGR!!
I bought a Rep bench 2 years ago because of you recommendation. Great content Iâm split on the best adjustable dumbbells right now been watching your reviews. Currently Iâm doing 100 dumbbells for bench 3/10 finding dumbbells that go to 100lbs or over are tough to find.
i just bought the kensui weight west because you made me aware of it. good stuff
What's a ..." weight west" ????
I think you missed the Ironmaster super bench pro V2. Just as good as v1 with minor tweaks and all those attachments add on makes it the most versatile, best bang for your buck space saver bench I can think of
all that equipment and he looks like he just joined his own gym
I don't think he actually works out lol
Ideas of new-ish items to review (pretty pretty please)
- Rogue: New Monster Lite Sandwich J-Cups 1" and 2"
- Rogue: Squat Wedges
- Rogue: Ghost Roller J-Cups
- Bridge Built: Combo Roller J-Cups
- Mutant Metals: Dip Bar
- Rogue: Dip Bar (Velocidor)
- Mutant Metals: Snap-Back Rollers
- Rogue: Manta Ray Bench
Many of these in the works/waiting to be reviewed! - Coop
great vid keep it up bro
Only thing I liked was the squat rack attachment, bulletproof isolator. May have to check that one out
Good shit Coop and team. Ty.
I'd like to see you review the Snode adjustable dumbbells.
Coming VERY soon. - Coop
Could you mount the vitruvian on the ceiling of the garage? Of vertical on the wall?
Bells of Steel came out with a new Rack in the 3x3 category. Would love to see a review on that!!!
Gungnir should definitely license their design, itâs very simple and innovative. If they donât I wouldnât be surprised if other companies just came out with their own similar version.
I would be surprised. It's very quick and easy to put on collars. The cost to add that feature probably wouldn't result in enough extra buys to cover that cost.
Patents, dummies
@@DavidLee-cw6ci thatâs why I said similar, I looked at there patent and it seems pretty thorough but I think there are a few ways of accomplishing the same thing
The muscle on the front of your femur is your quad. The "tib" (tibialis anterior) is the muscle to the front and outside of your shin.
I would like to see you do a review on the âjacked up pro fitnessâ functional trainer.
I would say the base blocks tib bar is more innovative since you can do both legs at the some time or flip it over and do a single legs all in a single peace of equipment
Hey coop
Love your content brother.
Those round dumbbells I saw on your show. Who makes them? Or better which brand new oils you recommend.
Great content.
Iâm curious why we never see any reviews of products from some of the OG home gym companies like Powertec and Body Solid.
Keep up the great work!
They have affiliate programs so the monetization part is covered, I honestly think because Coop and GGR donât focus on bodybuilding equipment as much and mostly power lifting/CrossFit.
Have they actually come out with anything new in a decade? That's kinda the issue. They don't really compete well anymore.
@@rjm656 I think they just tweak existing designs every so often. They have some good home gym pieces that are on par with REP, Titan, etc
@@BrandonSchwartz1 Very few. Racks are all entry-level REP, benches are old designs, etc...They do have a few stand-out pieces like the LeverGym.
That bullet proof isolator looks like something I've been looking for!
Pull the trigger! Worth every penny.
What do you think of the Pritchett Pad? Just released by Rogue, in partnership with Strongman Jerry Pritchett. It allows you to do chest supported rows. Not sure it is 100% necessary, as there are ways to do supported rows with standard and incline benches. But looked a cool innovation.
Love the idea. Itâs on its way to review. - Coop
Iâd like to see a comparison of a complete home gym rig which includes a smith press and cables versus something like a Rep Ares, where you can add different accessories đ€
Would love to see a review of the Kensui Swissies and/or any alternatives that exist
Thanks for sharing.
Looking to build out a home gym w very limited ceiling height. Do you have a video or recommended products that would help focus on those best products? Biggest issues seem to be around squat/bench racks, pulley systems, etc
Do you have a full review of the Pepin Fast Series dumbbells?
Cool stuff. Have you ever reviewed the Biggins weight plates?
Al Bundy would approve
You should review X3âs new bar. Itâs called Proforce I think! The added technology to the bar to show the amount of force used during training!
I saw that. Love the idea, want to give it a go. - Coop
This list can't be complete without a review of our 2023 release: Free Motion Swing Arms
I had the surplus strength UPS high and low before I upgraded to Ares. I may be the only one that sold an item from this list to buy another that is on this list.
Could you please do a review of the Pivot Murphy bed squat rack?đȘđ»
Flywheel resistance equipment? Also are there good companies that are making them at a decent price.
Good video. We need a updated review for the Revolt âbelt squat attachment (kickstand)â
Ooh, I didnât see they came out with a kickstand. Iâll take a look. - Coop
@@GarageGymReviews they called it kickstand. But it's a whole new arm. It attaches differently. Holds more weight. Is longer. And come with a belt.
You had a cable attachment block that had adjustable tension and I couldnât find the video? Can you send me the link please. Thanks đ love the info thank you for sharing.
Iâm starting to build my home garage gym and I was wondering if you have any recommendations on any treadmills? I donât run marathon s or do stuff super crazy but I want something start with something that would actually help me get my normal cardio in⊠if you guys have any suggestions it will be really appropriate it thanks!
Get a bike
I havenât seen any reviews for signature fitness, would love to know what you think about their power rack or squat rack. 3x3 with 11 gauge steel but super low price? Whatâs the catch?
Unfortunately the mg4cn is my only option with the space I have⊠I appreciate rogue is giving more sleeve length options for modest home gym setups
Hey Coop, how about Lever Gyms: Body Solid, Powertec, RAPT, etc?
Entertaining as always, great video. P.s. unsurprisingly, the tibialis anterior muscle is on the front of the tibia, not your femur đđ»đȘđŒ either way, keep on training 'em!
What? đČ
Are you sure?
@@deltalima6703 đ
I would like to see your take on bells of steel equipment more.
The lower leg bones are the Tibia the load bearing bone and the Fibula the none load bearing bone. The Femur is the bone under the quads that connects to the hip and the knee.
Bloodt know-it-all. Are you a skydiver or something?
Awesome video my man New sub
Wow.. Great review... Does anybody know the name of the instrumental played in the last/outro part? I tried shazam but it couldn't identify it.
It is always so funny when he states "I use that one the most" ... and yet he has the framesize of a ... well ... asparagus. ^^
So can the kaizan be combined with the vendetta attachment? That would be awesome
Eleiko trap bar costs 2x as much as Repâs, and I honestly donât see how itâs better đ€. Rep has more handle options, is just as balanced, has center knurling, and the handles are stainless steel. I could not find any info on the Eleiko handles, but Iâm guessing theyâre probably chrome like the sleeves
Just a correction here, but you said the Rogue TF-1 works out the "front of the femur" when it actually works the tibialis anterior muscles (essentially your shin muscles). Hense the name "tib-bar".
Unless you meant something else in which I stand corrected.
Dang, pepin adjustable dumbbells are 2k? But i definitely like the adjustable weight limits way more than other adjustables ive been looking at.
When are we going to have the Ares vs Coop Squat comparison video? đ
What do u recommend for flooring
Coop could you do a review on the handy gym flywheel? I know you are a fan of flywheels. I think it could be a better option than the ancore
Iâve been considering buying the pro version, do you think itâs worth the price? Also does it produce enough resistance to actually build muscle?
It says it does 220 pounds of resistance. If thatâs the case then I would say it could definitely build muscle just not sure if that resistance is on the concentric or eccentric phase. Thatâs why Iâm hoping coop or someone that reviews home equipment could let us know
Perfect video
3.2k shipping to Australia for bulletproof isolator đąđąđą.
Awesome vid again Coops. Making me want to buy more more more đ
Can you please do a thorough review on the best Hack squat machine for home use?
In the works! - Coop
