man i wasn't a big nicholas fan but after this interview i definitely think he's cool. I've felt that way about trials and some modern no gi competitors for while now, but who am i to say anything.
Completely agree, I didn’t know much about him but he always seemed a little brash for my taste. After listening to his story and getting to know him better it seems like he is a nice guy

sad but I think that meregali is gonna overtake gordon’s place if gordon’s health issues keep him off the mat
I think Gordon will retire after this year's super fight. He will stay as an instructor / coach at New Wave, and nothing is wrong with that, but I don't see for him the risk/reward due to this stomach issue. He can't even lift weight atm :/
Honestly, I think that's what Gordon's gearing (hehe pun) to do where we can see him pretty much passing them mantle to Nicholas.. if Gordon actually retires permanently, with Gordo and Danaher the head of NW, Nicholas will be undefeated for years to come.

There are a couple of training sessions on youtube. Nic is good but cant beat Gordon. Only thing that beats Ryan at this point is his stomach.
