CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA BREAD:
Three ripe bananas
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
One egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
Salt, two taste
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
Half cup mini chocolate chips
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
In a bowl add the bananas and mash until smooth.
2. Add in the melted butter and stir until combined.
3. Add the sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda, salt and flour, and stir until the batter is smooth.
4. Add in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
5. Top with additional chocolate chips (optional).
6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before serving. Enjoy!

When Calen left I cried so hard and grieved over this situation for days. I prayed and asked God to give him back to you and your family permanently. As the days went on God spoke to me about this showing me about what a great gift your family gave to Calen. The God told me to pray about what is best for Calen not what I wanted to see. So I have been doing this since that time and just knowing you gave him gifts and unconditional love showing him who he really is and that God has a great plan for his life are gifts that he will carry on through his life. I don't really know if you, Joe and Parker realize how special you are and what great gifts you are sharing not only with Calen but with all of us. You are all one of a kind, God's gifts and you show that Love overcomes everything. Love you all and Calen and hope next year gets here soon so y'all can be together. God is working behind the scenes "not sure what is going on there" but he has told me many times He is doing this. Love you all and keep sharing your precious Godly gifts with the world.

I am so impressed with Parker's cursive writing! My employees are mostly high school boys. They can't read or write cursive! When I give out an application for hire, I have them do a really simple test involving money. They can't do it. This world has really changed in the last 5 years!!! Good job!!!

My cats went nuts and swarmed the tv when your bird feeder came on. They watch “CZcams for Cats”, but that feeder is WAY better than any of their videos I have seen. 🙀

I stumbled into your channel in the last several months and enjoyed your family, your Christian beliefs, the homeschooling ( I taught middle school in k-8's for 40+ years and retired to homeschool my grandsons when we could see covid coming. I used ED Hirsch's "what your preschooler should know, what your kindergartners should know, etc. I really like their whole curriculum, but I'm very interested in the Christian aspect of the curriculum you are using, so I'll be investigating it) Sorry I distracted myself! I agree totally that your pantry needed this window. Brings the outdoors in. I can’t wait to see all your jars or whatever you will use for your pantry food. I love love my pantry, all my preserved foods.
Joe does work so hard, not to say that you don’t. Joe needs some time off from this build. A day or two off will refresh him so much. Building is a mind body workout. We remodeled our 6000 sq ft home and we were in a total mess for many many years one room at a time. One time I was looking right down into our cellar for a week because all the floor boards in our kitchen were removed to put new flooring down. Stepping alone planks that were our floor was fun. Building and remodeling is so rewarding and takes time…you both have worked so hard this winter trying to get all done before spring. Don’t burn yourselves out! Your home looks so cozy and beautiful in that shot. Perfect size. 💜💜
Oh we both get plenty of time off, he was just teasing. You guys only see about 45 minutes of our weekly life, we take plenty of days off throughout the week.😊 I’m really excited about the added space of the pantry & for me to have it be something I like to look at is an added bonus.
