Ive been a woodworker as a hobby and a business for 30+ years and i love working with epoxy. Not only is it a beautiful addition but it allows the use of wood that otherwise wouldn't be useful
I think it looks nice, but the main problem most people have with it it's like with a highly expensive handbag. It's not about how it looks, it's mainly used as a display of wealth.
I love the blue epoxy! The lighter color of the live edge is the perfect representation of a active shoreline. Do you ever play with different colors of epoxy representing natural river water colors. Have you ever seen pictures if the Tahquamenon Falls in Michigan's Upper Penninsula? The Tahquamenon River is heavily stained with tannins caused by the decomposition of the plants found in its watershed. These tannins will turn the waters a transparent golden brown color, almost caramel or a gingerale color. That could be an interesting effect to mix up and pair with wood. In the winter, the river water forms ice columns at the falls which are golden in the center and white on the outside that almost glow on sunny days. There seems to be almost golden swirls of color. Different colored icicles form at the edge of the rock layers found in the horseshoe shaped basin carved out by the river. The mineral stained groundwaters form teal green, pinkish, and white colored long, thin, icicles. Check out the pictures. The water has swirls of color. You might like e

Blue was cool and i Agree with you on the black color or MAYBE a modern color which is black, white greyish or looking like a marble table and i WOULD DEFINITELY BUY... AWESOME JOB!!!!!!

Shouldn't explain anything. Your beautiful table speaks for itself.
Dude! This table looks so amazing!!! You most definitely have a talent there!
I love that you are reclaiming wood that is otherwise unusable. We have to preserve as much wood as possible and this is great! Love the colors too!

This is a much better example of correct proportion of wood to epoxy. Mostly wood with a smaller epoxy accent.
