- I am opening two 1st/First Off The Line (FOTL) hobby boxes of 2022/23 Panini Obsidian NBA Basketball for our next collectible sports trading card pack unboxing/product review! Hobby boxes have an SRP of $175 and currently resell in the mid $200 range (FOTL boxes resell in the mid $400 range). Every box contains 1 7-card pack (12 box cases). Expect 2 autographs and 2 inserts/parallels per box. FOTL boxes contain an exclusive FOTL autograph (Blue Flood /27 or Contra /3) and 1 exclusive FOTL Parallel (/16 or /3). These boxes come with chances at pulling rare base cards of the top rookies from the 2022 NBA Draft class, ultra-rare Vitreous and Volcanix inserts, 1/1 White Mojo parallels, SSP Neon Flood Electric Etch Prizm parallels, Rookie Jersey Autographs (RPA), other SP parallels (yellow /10, red /5), autos of the NBA's top rookies/stars/HOFers, rookies of Paolo Banchero, Jalen Williams, Bennedict Mathurin, Chet Holmgren, Jabari Smith Jr., Keegan Murray, & Jaden Ivey, and more! You have the best job man, its like you get to open Christmas Presets year round! One of these times you're going to pull a 6 figure maybe a 7 figure card and Im 100% sure I will get to watch it!!! Some 1 of 1 of a Whemby or Scoot! Heads up Scoot beat Whemby IMO because Scoot had better stats all around Whemby had 0 assists and like 3 rebounds. Scoot almost had as many points as Whemby too, but Whemby blocked Scoot twice 😂

Day 1 of asking Packman to do hobby vs retail where the hobby packs are current (like 22-23) and the retail are older packs like 15-16 or 17-18 and they be around the equivalent price like 500 or 1000 for each side

I prefer collecting cards in my.childhood in the 90s when inserts were what we chased and not just paralells its.dumb that there is a base card and if u get the same card with either yallow,green, blue,red,pink or purple thats where the money is insertsnare an afterthought now unless its holo ..when i was 10 i pulled 2 jordan skyviews in 1 week frlm $.99 packs nowadays itnwoukd be normal unless it was shiny purple

I love Obsidian, way too much for the cards though. This set NEEDS to be 200$ for FOTL, 150$ for regular hobby. It would be the best set from Panini. (Both football and basketball)
Breakers on all platforms will always keep the prices high. The manufacturers know this

Since when did any rookie card be what people chase and r considered the most desired csrds over proven stars? Like u get a pack and get a curry holo and the same card but chet holmgren people wxt like its gold ..i coukdnt imagine in my childhood when i collected mainly jordan and cuz of the time i have a ton of kobe,iverson,garnett,dirk,nash,shaq rookies and inserts but i couldmt imagine gettilng a jordan then pulkimg the same insert but say Bryan Big Country Reeves and thjinking its more vsluable its dumb brimg back real imsert sets dump the damn base card in 25 diff color holos
Do a great job. I enjoy seeing you break because you’re professional and know what to do. I just think sometimes we dwell on the negative instead, appreciating the opportunities we have I didn’t mean anything bad.
