Holy shit 🤣 thank you, thank you, thank you. This is my 3rd record player and I've never seen such a mechanism. I fought a dude to grab this at the Goodwill bins for $8 yesterday. Was bummed when everything but the turntable worked. I took it apart and was looking for replacement motors when I came across this video. I'm just a moron and didn't know how to engage the motor.
