@@Ism0Lait3la I disagree. Positionally hopeless after about 12-13 moves. No activity, blocked files, horrible king position. She still had a minute by then. Her whole problem, as far as I see it in these games, is that she is playing too reactionary, and can't settle on one or two ideas or gameplans. It's the biggest reason why she won't get to a rating of 2400 and above. Her opening theory is ok, her endgame is ok, she is decent at calculation, but strategically it's lacking.

Your strategic moves and quick thinking really showcased your skills. I have now watched at least a dozen of Anna Cramling chess videos. She never seems to play like a chess master. I haven't been in a sanctioned chess tournament since the 1980's (Does the USCF still exist?), thus by the standards familiar to me, Anna ought to be a Class B player, about a 1750. Anna makes me ruminate her games when she doesn't take control of lines or challenge her opponent's control when I think she should.
Alexandra Botez does give me the sensation that she is a chess master.
Today's ratings seem different. I see really big numbers up near 3000. Bobby Fischer was rated 2780 in his prime. But I also see amateurs rated only 600 or even 500. In 1980, almost nobody was below 900. If a lot of today's casual players are getting official ratings, I suppose that is good for the popularity of the game.
I think I am currently about a 1500 player. This means I probably can't beat Anna Cramling head-to-head. But I can't see her strangling me the way that senior master Kim Commons did in a 1975 simultaneous exhibition. Anna would have to work to beat me. On the other hand, Alexandra Botez could wipe me out the way that Mr. Commons did.
[In 1980, there were very few women in tournament chess in America, much less gorgeous ones. Anna and Alexandra are the stuff of male fantasies.]

We have have this trait, it is a question of recognizing it and changing. Consistently being late or slow, especially for smart people, is a sign you are trying to draw attention to yourself. It is a tactic for people to bend to you. This may be helpful at times in chess but not if it gets you in time trouble consistently. Use when an opponent has made a bad move to let them stew in it, or maybe after a loss of a piece. Otherwise trust yourself and keep moving as a plan.
