All About Pearl Danio: A Hidden Gem

Pearl danios have a tendency to get over shadowed by their flashier cousins, the zebra danios, in the aquarium hobby. But these little fish have just as much to offer so long as you provide then with a set up the literally lets them shine :)

Filters
Pat Mini - amzn.to/3fE1u0k - popular for a reason, just a superb little filter thats great for shrimp tanks and fish alike.

Air Pump
AP-3 Kit : amzn.to/34UMA3q - Great little air pump, not a silent runner, but has been very reliable for me.
Tanks
Scaper 45 - amzn.to/3KBxG2H - a lovely high quality tank that comes with a super strong light, and a decent enough hang on back filter - perfect for newbies and scapers alike.
My filming stuff
Camera - Cannon 200D - amzn.to/354OLlc - nice camera, easy to use.
BigTripod - Manfrotto befree - amzn.to/3GLXDdj - pricey but super sturdy and can take being knocked over a lot by clumsy operators.

These guys are definitely one of my favorite fish, they kinda look and swim like mini salmon imo. Only downside is that they're skiddish and stupid, so catching them could be really difficult. There were multiple times that one of them would get stuck after darting between a rock or log, I'd definitely recommend a large, mostly open tank for them to minimize this kind of risk

Completely agree! My favorite danio species, really underrated. But, they are spazzes and fast! Lots of open area is a great idea.
