Vinod Anantoju, If there is any award that's being given in memory of legendary director Hrishikesh Mukherjee, then you deserve it 100%.
Felt like travelled to Guntur and saw whole conversations infront of me! Great movie and so real..Music BGM and performances were top notch..
Dear varsha Take my heart ❤️ for that recharge scene❤️❤️
I think Telugu cinema was commercialized in terms of hero in the 80's and 90's because the whole industry shifted from madras to Hyderabad where they had to build new studios which required a lot of capital which required producers to make commercial films rather than artistic I think thats what drove telugu cinema for 2 to 3 decades.
What a laughable excuse.
Even in 80s & 90s there are wonderful mix of arthouse, social drama & commercial flicks. Some of the films worked in other states, not as frequently though. Many films were remade in bollywood. But they were not pitched to neighbour states as much as tamil cinema did. Vishwanath garu, singeetam, jandhyala, bapu, dasari made some cult classic films. Phenomenon of rgv was felt across the country. Even women centric films were really well written. I think in the late 90s & 2000s there's a bit of downfall. But then again there were few filmmakers like Sekhar Kammula, chandu Yeleti, Krish, krishnavamshi in 2000s. It's just that filmmakers never thought of pitching their stories into another language/market. Now it's definitely on top of the game.
@@bobmarty3217 actually what he said is true. There were lot of external factors that really affected producers from taking up good off beat scripts. 80s was still good because that was the time when k vishwanath and also some prominent comic and screen writters flourished. Their style of addressing social issues with light heart comedy was later became a template. But with the beginning of 90s, things went more towards commercial rather than art. One such factor is theatre pricing where govt. was very strict with regulations which hampered profits and more number screens up untill state was divided in 2014.
Telugu industry has masterpieces in olden days like Mayabazar, malliswari, missamma, pathala bhairavi, devadas, lava kusha, dhaana veera soora karna, shankarabharanam etc etc.,
I think you are not aware of telugu industry... Telugu industry had golden era.
@@sivapaturu5784 yes they are great movies. But that was not golden era. It came in 80s. With k vishwanth gaaru leading the pack along with jandhyala, vamsy and many more. He is best till date.
Good movie with realistic performances and well written characters.. Nice work Vinod, Janardhan and the entire team 👏👏👏
All of them are very humble
Being huge Chiru fan, what to comment that telugu film Industry turned in to commercial film market only because of Chiranjeevi.Literally may looks like criticizing comment on him but in other sense let's see How he ruled the industry for three decades as single top most star.Along with money generation, Audience, directors , producer, technicians and whole film industry ran after him. It's a new kind of happy and exciting entertainment to people who are already fed-up with real life's sadness .That is impact he created on TFI. Also next generation stars followed his footsteps. Renaissance in TFI film industry happened from Shekar Kamula, now it's reached the peaks and the cycle goes on
I feel Anand is more humble and has down to earth attitude :) Director has great knowledge too ! Hope he delivers great movies ahead.
Looks are deceptive you know, let's not fall for that. Vijay devarkonda attitude changed after couple of hits 😉
@@ianeeshram Ha Ha :D True that, but I hope Anand continues to be the same :) .
The actor's house and actress house set perfectly into how middle classes homes will be like hanging lot of God photos on walls, and vessels and all
They are set in Heroe's father - Kodalrao garu original village and actual homes . Thats the reason they so realistic. Directors avoiding settings but actually going and taking villager's help. Fidaa is also such movie.
Unlike other parents Bharadwaj Rangan would ask his children to constantly watch movies and stuff..#fathergoals
Wonderful feel good movie in a long time. Loved every moment of it. 😀😃
I laughed out loud on the recharge scene which was clearly inspired from Zootopia (The famous sloth scene). Varsha's comic timing in that scene was simply hilarious. :D Overall the film was very pure and grounded. Wish films like this would come more often and make more money. :)
Which scene?

It's the same
Aunu bayya zootopia scene dinchesaadu
I asked vinod if he was inspired from zootopia. He told me he knew one recharge shop owner who was very slow and he inspired from that person.
We saw Vinod Short films before "Soonyam" and "Oka maranam" they were super good. I saw today Middle class movie it is really good...
Athadu Adivini jayinchadu is one of the telugu book even I want to watch that on silver screen, 5 or 7 years back I would have easily said no one can bring that live on screen, but now telugu Movie is moving and I have very much trust on new age directors.
Director is very talented. Whole credit goes to director, technicians and actors.
Chaala chaala bagundi. Maa Guntur ni baaga choobincharu
Sir , we didn't feel no lag at all , we were taking in the scenes and let ourselves travel back to those places. And also got very hungry 😋 . Pandemic kept us at home so been long we went out and tasted Street food. So this visual treat is welcoming.
Such a sensible interview! Love the questions BR poses and the details it brings out. I watched this interview for BR but now I'm going to watch the movie after all this conversation.
Yes
Would appreciate BR ...if he can watch Color photo ..it deserves more appreciation too ..but it’s released in aha..so it’s exposure is not much ..even MCM also deserved kudos ..
Color photo had a good reach I guess due to good word of mouth, but yeah if released in prime maybe even more reach .. Even Hriday gave a positive review ....
He has actually seen it. There's a review on the FC website.
BR has already reviewed colour photo
I had a nice time watching this interview :) Probably the producers of bigger films might look for a platform which has the more subscription base or to the highest bidder :)
i saw the movie in amazon prime it is so nice ane very reality movie i love it
i enjoy alot thanks
Good to see Bharadwaj Rangan watching more telugu films and doing interviews
Simply story and nicely executed by the director, congratulations to entirely tea🌹🌹🌹🌹🌸🌸💐💐💐
You guys did an amazing job! Keep it up
way to go Vinod!!
Brilliant movie 👍👏
Very nice movie ❤️❤️
AWESOME TELUGU FILM...🔥
Thank you Baradhwaj sir, for identifying such films n doing interview
Varsha pointed good point
Sir, regarding your question about the distraction from outside when engrossed in a movie, there are many times where we scroll back to a scene which is so interesting to watch on repeat. And many movies which did not work on the bigscreen run so great on tv.
Best feel good film in recent times
6:01 His accent and acting are the only drawbacks of this otherwise brilliant film. Anand messed it up with his blandness.
Director looks like V studio Kodangi
Last lo manchi punch ichedu director BR ki ...masala films Tamil lo nee ekkuva ..a Rajnikanth over action vadu ..
Rajinikanth okkadu.. sure he does masala films
Telugu lo chiru, nag, venkatesh, their 10 kids and their kids and nephews and cousins do only masala shitty Telugu films! Hello?!
Is there a kamal haasan or vijay Sethupathi in telugu? Joke's on you buddy.. nepotist tollywood is still shitty in national level
Abba miru chaala intelligent👍
