- Jaime Ibanez started his snack selling business in High School and now, at 23 years old, he has over 50 Vending Machines that make a combined $35,000 in gross sales each month! Jaime started in the Vending Industry with no prior experience, mentorship or money. At 18 Years old, Jaime bought his first machine shortly after graduating highschool for $2500.. using almost all of his savings! Fastforward to today, Jaime owns more than 50 Machines; he stores his snacks and drinks in a 2300 sqft warehouse and his Company 'Vending Bites' has expanded to selling exotic snacks as well. Jaime, a Vending Machine CZcamsr, and his girlfriend Liz work the route 3 days a week and he says that this industry gives him the freedom to have a flexible schedule! In this Video, he shares his number one tip for anyone wanting to start a successful vending business, his favorite machine/equipment he recommends to all vending owners, where he gets his snacks and drinks at the best price, how to find locations to place your vending machine, when to know its time to expand in a bigger space or hire an employee and if/when you should give a commission to the business your machine is placed at!
Jaime is the perfect example of success no matter your age; he was able to get into the vending industry because of its low barrier of entry and has consistently grossed 6 figures a year.
If you are interested in starting a vending machine business or want to know how much money you can make doing it.. this video is for You!!

I have seen a lot of interviews on this subject. It's nice to get more personal behind the scene on how the business works for the person being interviewed.
Appreciate that! Thank you for watching
You did a REALY good job, I was suggested this video, I am currently working on some new software and as I am listening and watching-this interview is very good. It really reminds me of a show called California Gold. Your style is very simular, you ask a lot of questions, but you also focus on the people. Its the people that makes the business your interest and of course the human side. Again- you did a very good job. I will check to see what else you got. The number of (VALUABLE) questions, is emense but educational.
Thanks for sharing my journey! 🙌 video is amazing 🔥
Appreciate you bro! Thanks for letting us come out!
@jaimeibanezz what app were you using that you showed in the video? We're currently using VendSoft, but looking for more integrated alternatives. Please share!!
You're doing great. Tip with the chocolate....Get yourself a commercial freezer or two and freeze your chocolate over night. Take only what you need for the day and pack those individual boxes in a larger container. They will serve as their own ice packs and should last you most of the day.....if you start early enough and work fast enough. 😉
Also, Im impressed with your progress. I've come across your videos for a few years now and you've grown nicely. Keep it up. The warehouse looks great.
Hey man!! You need to upload you had a cool channel.
Very honest insight, thanks Jaime. Great interviewer 👏
What I've noticed is most vending CZcamsrs don't talk about NET only Gross. The people I've interviewed in this space say their NET is around 50-65%.
i'd net 50-65% of 35k any day of the week. But thats just me.
He says he usually charges double on snacks. Sounds like way less on soda. Probably 35-60% profit.
Best business tour to date. So cool!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Fantastic video guys! Really great job with the production on this one. Wishing all parties much success. 🎉
🙏🏼 thank you!
Great in-depth video on vending! Nice interview with the top G Jaime
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Respect for him. I remember doing the same exact thing in high school unfortanely I wasn’t aware about vending machines being a business 😂 Well Amazon FBA is the next best thing for me. Great interview man 🤝
Neither did I! He’s killing it and has so much drive/hunger for success. Thanks for watching!
@@AustinZaback $35k a month he's a millionaire now he's probably worth millions of dollars now
@@andrewmorales5485 that's gross sales so it's more like 15k a month in profit plus he has to pay taxes on that as well. Him and his wife are working together so they make around 90k each before taxes which is great for working for yourself, but they aren't millionaires yet. I'm sure if he keeps grinding, he will be one day.
So I’m not even in middle school but I’m probably gonna use this info to start my own business
This video is great! It has inspired me to make a vending machine business myself. Thank you so much Austin!
Appreciate You! Thanks for leaving this comment.. this is why we do it!
Wow only 23 and is doing all this that’s amazing!!! ❤
Very impressive!!
Jamie is the freaking man! Been following him awhile and he’s inspiring!
He is the man! Incredible story, he’s gonna do big big things! Thanks for watching
@@AustinZaback yeah he definitely is and will! Of course, keep up the great content!
I always thought if I lose my job I’d wanna hit Jamie up and try to work for him cause I see him going places.
@@jimmyssnowremoval1075he’s definitely going places. He grinds
Jaime is a good man and he smart isee a vedio of him but he dosent answer my q for help that why I'm didn't keep see his chanil iknow maybe he is busy but iwas try many monthes maybe since one year... That also why iwell not complaint this vedio with all my respect
Love the video. Great content. Keep working hard young man. I love seeing people like you with the right mindset💯💯
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Cool video but very misleading title. He earns around 14k a month on 40% of gross, which 1500 goes to rent, probably another 5k a month on operating expenses, parts and repairs, etc, which leaves him with around 1800-2000 a week which is still a great side hustle if he indeed only spends 3 days a week on it. I'm guessing he is working every day though in some capacity.
Not to mention sales tax. In Texas, vending is taxable at 6.25% but only at 50% of receipts. Thats another $1100 per month. In reality he's making closer to 1600-1800 per week.
Furthermore, his girl also works with him and she's a big part of his operation, so divide that by two. They each make $800-$900 per week.
That's still great. I've seen this kid before...he's awesome and they're both doing well. He and his girlfriend have got a bright future. But the title is either click-bait or Austin, like MANY people, doesn't understand owning your own business, and often conflate the businesses gross sales with individual income. There's a vast ocean of expenses between the two.
As someone who's very familiar with the industry, I agree that he's working a lot more than 3 days per week. 420k per year in gross sales is moving A LOT of product. He may spend only 3 (long) days a week filling machines, but the other 4 are definitely filled with repairs, purchasing, accounting, and just THINKING about the business. Working for yourself is a 24/7 endeavor. It never leaves you.
I just wish people would be honest and truthful in these videos. There are a TON of naive people who are being mislead thinking that this (or any other small business) is easy. It isn't.
Both of you guys are correct I own vending machines company product fuel maintenance, for vehicles and machines sales taxes 7.6% for me. I have 32 machines I’ve been in for three years an getting a location two a month I have to slow down because I just don’t have the capital to keep up machines are expensive an so are product. The more machines you have the more you work 3 days a week 🤣🤣😂 I’m always working on the business a machine goes down I’m out there that day or the next trying to stay ahead of the game you can’t be lazy owning a business let alone a vending machine company. But you guys be safe
@@Boblib1970 In todays world you have the brick and mortar aspect and the brand aspect. Sometimes these influencers make more off subs and views than sales. I can understand that the title was probably an effort to get more views but it still is just click bait, which I can understand, but don't have to like it.
@@brentburnett7778 always great to see a young guy working hard at his own business. I bought a grocery store at 34 and sold it at 39 to Family Dollar. Now I just dabble in bonds and options and run a small sand business from the farm. I wish the best luck to you. Find your sweet spot for number of machines you can handle though like you said, bigger isn't always better.
Which app do you use for restock?
So young yet so knowledgeable. This was good info.
Thank you for watching!
Congratz. I am happy for you. Wish you earn more
One thing he didn't mention with buying directly from Pepsi or Coke is they will give you free machines and they also provide maintenance free on those machines. So that can be a major profit saver if the cooling unit breaks down as thats not a cheap fix. Plus they deliver to you which can save alot of gas money and time going to and from sams every week to restock product.
I love the vending machine business
I have 3 locations working on my 4th
I started with a cheap Chinese brand (genesis) now I'm only buying AMS machines ..
🔥🔥
if I have the money for a new one should I just go for it incase it doesn't work out and I can jus sell it for almost a similar price
@@DreazyDrew22 Securing location first
Amazing magnificent vending/ real business
Most vending businesses go off a 50-30-20 rule 50 percent is product 30 for payroll and 20 for miscellaneous costs like gas with 40k a month that’s 480k a year making his payroll 144000 dollars a year
Kind of a weird one but I’ve heard mushroom growing operations are low cost to start and profitable, might be interesting!
🤔 interesting
The head bobbing is just off the charts
How does it work about paying for electricity? You give the establishment where you place the machines a certain amount every month?
Some places don’t even care having a machine helps flow with customers or keeping kids from running depends how you come at them
Vending machines and candy are expensive! The biggest issue today is that businesses are using their own machines as well as the problem of the fact that most people don't have cash today!! Using cards lowers profit due to fee.
Can you give me the exact name of that software you use please?
thanks for the education
🙏🏼🙏🏼
super cool dude, you can see how passionate he is
💯💯
Great tip i started few months ago
Thanks for watching man. Wish you all the success
How is it going?
@@lcofficial3084 going good I got videos on the channel it’s going pretty good
What app is he talking about @10:39, I can't find it
He said VMS, for vending management system. It is a general name for a type of software package, not a name brand.
Jamie since year vending machine drinking and snack
What’s the inventory track system called?
VMS
Mannn...I feel like we all hung out and I know you guys.
I love that. That’s the goal. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
my only question about this is like contracts and permits,
He did mention that normally he doesn’t have contracts with his clients, he just Vets them very well
Can you do a new video with Quik Play feat Eli and Cody?
Amazing recommendation! Would love to!
Enjoy the video i took alot of notes ❤
Appreciate you 🙏🏼
I started at $1,500
Costco?
50 Maschines Respect! But that takes lots of work
💯
Im going to start off with the small machines first, then work my way up to the bigger one's. Ask around & atleast have 2-3 locations already line up. Im trying to stay debt free so I'd rather save & buy my first machine. I got to get my LCC first that's coming next week. I've liked & subscribed already!!!! Thanka!!! 😊
You’re already going to fail 🤦♂️ stop worrying about LLCs that do nothing and just make money wtf

$4.50 for 600ml soda in Australia
I cannot have Coke in stock too much foot traffic
How do you find out the location allow to put the vending machine?
Great Question! You can have a conversation with the owner/management of the location and explain the value you’ll be bringing to their business.
these prices are all cheaper. I start at $2 for candy and chips and $3 for soda
Interesting!
🔥
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Jamie really hasn’t posted on his own channel since this video came out.
True. He told me he’d been busy with the business etc but from what I know, he should have some videos up next month!
I figured.
What does he say the name of the inventory app is?
I don’t know why he said what he said. It’s called Stock by Parlevel
or VendSoft i thought? @@malekkmeid9263
It's called VMS
We have the ice cream 🍨
More like 15k after inventory and commission to the building.
I'll still take 15k a month. That's still 180k a year. Not bad at 23 years old.
@@koden530 then why not put 15k In the title? Because Obviously they want to exaggerate. Never said it was bad.
@@albertocampos4857if you read the description it says 35k in gross sales
And he has to pay taxes on his sales too which takes another big chunk
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
ANOTHA One!
🔥🔥
13 years in the industry here. Just responding to the thumb nail. Didn't bother watching video.
If you own your own machines you are basically on call 24/7 for repairs.
How many machines he has?
over 50!
He said Jayme
He told me to call him Jamie
Jaime hasn't been posting in a while.
Doctor pepper medicine
Does he hire people to manage all 50 of his vending machines or does he go to each one himself and collect all the money
He manages everything with his girlfriend
No you don't..... Another click bait
Seriously
If he has about 100 vending machines, all they need to do is make 350 a month… not that hard to believe.
No it’s totally legit, 35k a month is like 420k in a year. So he makes more like 200k profit maybe a little less. That also means he makes about 8k per machine(if he had 50)
@@CS_Vending I like how this guy is talking out of his arse like hes spitting facts
It depends on how many machines he has but I believe it’s a click bait too
Vending Bite is such a weird name to each its own but yah given the experience with this guy his so called classes are OVER priced and he doesn't even teach you its some other young guy that you don't even know that attempts to teach you and try's to up charge you for free knowledge for $500 and possibly more knowledge is free and everywhere LOL go it everyone. Other then that its good for him that he is making good money.
please take this as constructive criticism and not me bagging on you... talk less with your hands and body so people aren't distracted from the message you are giving.
Appreciate the feedback!
What i need so can get vending machine in texas state
Will it work in INDIA from ur aspect??
How do you market your product…..
he makes his girl do all the work ...
And you think he does nothing?
I think 1 makes 2k😊
$35,000/50 unit/ months = $700/ unit/ months
Gross. After rent $200, labor, transport, etc
Is that worth???
Grrr☝️...8ness
Hate us money, think you change it to plastic.
Yo need borrow 40 million
yea sorry. dude doesn't look like he's raking in 420k a year. what did you do, count his bank loan disbursement as income and call it "make up to 35k a month?" lol
Gross income is 35K a month. Check out his CZcams channel
CZcams needs to start banning these cap channels PLEASE
No cap!
@@AustinZaback Couldn’t find an LLC for this business name in Texas. These numbers seem inflated or fake. Also he sales $990 course reminds me of the trucking guru. Also to scale a business this big with only 2 employees 3 days a week doesn’t seem possible.
He has a whole CZcams channel that breaks down his whole vending business. He’s the real deal. Idk about his LLC info but he and his girlfriend grind hard. He just recently started selling a course because he said people would reach out for his help and he’d answer their questions but never follow through, only asking the same things over and over. So he decided to put a price on the assistance he gives because it weeds out the ones who wouldn’t take it seriously. Can you blame him for putting a product out there when he devotes time to help people and it all goes to waste?
@@AustinZabackcan’t blame him
He's smiling because "his good friend's name" is JAIME...Pronounced "high-may" 🤦🤦😂
I’m aware and he goes by jaime too.
35 K/month....how many machines ?
