Well, we're definitely going to need an update after the Little Princess trys on her crown!
Hello Nick, awesome idea and video! I was hoping to see all 8 and also this chubby cheeked 59 yr old would love to have one! I wish I had a grandchild
Perfect timing when my granddaughter told me she needed a Letterland costume and wanted to be the “quarrelsome queen”. Of course I was ready!! Thank you so much. She wanted her crown YELLOw! I love yellow, but a crown 🤷♀️ that’s what she is getting as I glue gems on the yellow crown!! 😘😘😘. Had to rewatch for added inspiration.
Oh my goodness I loved this and I have a chubby cheeked granddaughter who would love this! And your sense of humor cracks me up. So down to earth.
"your credit score drops" LOL! Nik your'e so gracious for making all these for her and her friends.
You are such a creative genius! Less is more! Love the crown. ❤
Oh yea, I am going to need video of the little girls accepting and wearing their crowns! Yep! Without a doubt, VIDEO Please!
I loved your video I loved your personality I think you're the best thing that kids ever ever could have found in their life you should get a 5-star rating and a trophy for this video I'm sending it to all my friends
Yup. Give the woman a crown! 👑
I adored this video.
Adorable, thanks for sharing. I also recommend using E6000 it is a glue for metal and it is flexible. I am going to try and make some of these adorable crowns in miniature for my doll customs.
There’s a cancer warning on the tube.
Yes. Exactly what I was thinking. It'll stick to anything, and move with it.
Who on earth would dislike a wholesome video like this?
I reckon. Weirdos.
Grumps
Someone mad they didn't post this. Well 2 years later and it's a hit still.
All I know is that I've really got to try this you'd be mad to dislike
@lunagray-wolf2404 ha 3 now lol
You mentioned that the flat back rhinestones had holes for hand stitching. Try stringing three or five together and gluing that on in a curve. Do the pearls that way too. Or buy some cup chain rhinestone and cut the length you need. I use Fire Mountain Gems because they have EVERYTHING. And you can save more with their multi-item pricing platform. I've bought from them for years and they are reliable, honest and so fast too.
I love the Idea. I have a toddler in my life.. she would love this.
What a great idea. My daughter would love one of these! However I am going to mention that instead of using a spray paint meant for furniture and stuff that you use one meant for fabrics specially because you sprayed it over glue. I say this because the spray paint may accident rub off on to a pretty lil sweaty go-go princess and bleed off onto her young and not immune to everyday chemicals skin. In return giving her a chemical burn on forehead mixed with heat and sweat. While this is prolly a rarity it does happen specially to young children with sensitive skin. Or put a small fabric liner that would be between her head and the crown Soo not to irritate the skin. All in all I think it’s an amazing idea and will try out a version of it myself. Thank you for the great idea!!! Stay blessed. Please let us know the outcome. 😊 Edit: this video is 3 years old!! 🤦🏼♀️ princess is probably a queen already. Either way. Still awesome.
You are so down to earth and made me laugh! Love the crown, have to share this with my grandma friends! Unfortunately I have three grandsons but maybe I’ll make one for my daughter who certainly deserves one!
I love the crown idea very much. The lace is beautiful. When you next bag of beads come in glue the rhinestones and beads on the strip of ribbon first then cut them off. It will be a lot easier on you and the project will go faster.
OMG, I made my crown👑 as you indicated. The finished was🎉 espectacular, love the🎊 reB stones 😅😂
Gorgeous.
What a fun project.......🥰
You and I would get along so well I love your ideas and practicality
Oh my goodness, so adorable!!! You’re going to be all the kids’ favorite auntie!!!!!
Thank you for sharing 💜
Nik the Fairy Godmother !!!
That is really pretty. She is going to feel very special in that crown Nik. Awesome job!
This is so very adorable. You are so clever. Have grand nieces and now...well, guess they will get princess crowns. They have the gowns but hate those plastic tiaras. Thanks for sharing! Think this will also help with a lace book cover.
You have given me an excellent idea, I will buy some lace tomorrow before going to work, then when I get home I will sew it onto some firm stiffener and line it with cotton. Thanku, you're a superstar.
It really is a stunning little 👑 crown!
This is SUCH a great idea!!! The Rustoleum is the best metallic spray ever!! I like how it came out looking like an antique crown....SO CUTE!!
And I just cannot understand why anyone feels the need to dislike...its just petty.
You mentioned tulle as a backing and I was all “yes!!” I’d layer the lace and tulle together when starching so they were even more sturdy.....ooohhhh.....the squirrels are churning....
Kind of reminds me of the doilies my Grandma used to make, but she used sugar starch so she always found me chewing on them when I was little!
Bombdiggety!!! Love love love!
This is adorable! Thank you for sharing your talents and gifts once again. You’re AWESOME!!!
Ha Ha Ha i know this i always make multiples yes what a wonderful world we live in with our little ones the twins always look at you like who is getting theirs first the looks you get well great job here
it's adorable. soz but stuff the toddlers, i want one! Lol
Would be so lovely for a princess party for party hats! Just need a velvety cape and wand or wings!! Genius Nik‼️🤴👸🥳🎉🎊💃
Happy you mentioned adults, as I'm totally making this for my 32nd birthday. 😂
What a good friend 🥰! They are going to be so cute! Lol can you see all of the booksmithers wearing one😂
“Auntie” Nik is the queen 👑 of creativity! 😊
This is going in my saved box. Thank you.
You could probably use liquid starch or hat stiffener instead of the initial glue. I worked for a milliner when I was younger and the stuff we use to stiffen hats would work well for this. Really cute idea. I think with the tips you can stop at an odd number if you don’t have enough to go around. Because you know the “reb” one has to be the prettiest of the bunch. Just saying. 😏 😊
This was a really fun video to watch. I hope Miss Chubby Cheeks and her friends loved them.
So adorable, any little one would love these. Your such a sweetie for making them, you have just become the fairy godmothet
Adorable. The crown, the story, you. Just love your generous heart. I hope they all loved them. :) tyfs
LOL!!! My little cherub toddler grandaughter didn't want "reb" she wanted "lellow" for international pirate day!!! Bahahaha!! The things we do for those adorable little faces!!
I wanted to get some dresden foil but could not find any locally so am going to do this with the lace and use it for my book corners instead. Great idea thank you.
The crown is beautiful!!! If I was a chubby cheeks toddler I would love it!!! You really are a great person to make them for her and all her little friends!!! Thanks for sharing, hugs💗👵
Aww what a lovely story Nik ! Hope your reb arrived and everything - thanks for sharing.
So adorable! It’s amazing what we’ll do for the babies we love. 😉💜💜
Gorgeous, gorgeous 😊 I think you need to wear one for your next tutorial! 😀😀
I found a gorgeous handmade purple crocheted lace butterfly. I wanted to use it as a cover for a journal. I was contemplating how to make it work when your video popped up. The idea of gluing to stabilize, and adding tulle to the back was just in time! Now, of course, I have to make a crown as well, while I have the glue mixture out. Thank you. Another great video, and I love your commentary!
Loved the crafting and your bubbly chattyness. Like having you in the room with me. ❤
Adorbs! What fun for those little girls! TFS the inspiration, Nik!
They would be great at a b-day party I can see them all set out on chargers on a beautifully set table Princess party or maybe a royal tea party ,, lol. There so great and so are you !
"I swear it will be done"... me looking at the dishes! Darn toddlers and their can't-be-resisted eyes! Gorgeous creation!
This is a great idea, I love the look of the lace.
Lol this video was so good! Haha too many catch phrases to note! However I will say that describing group texts as being held hostage is absolutely accurate! 🤣 This was the sweetest idea! I know she/they will love it! 👑
So stinking adorable!!! Some little chubby cheek angel is going to LOVVVVE that crown!! Great job as always Nik!
I hope you take a video of the little girls getting their crowns so we can see. The best part of your videos is your commentary. Also listening to your thinking as you go. Thank you for the laughs and the how to.
You are the best kinda crazy!! Love the crowns! Keep pushing the rest the of us down the rabbit hole!
Lovely little crown. What ingenious work! 😍
You are something else! I have to laugh because I am the same way. I say something and the next thing I know I have volunteered! I enjoy changing things up. That's why my channel is all over the place. I enjoy the things you come up with! I always look for your channel first every time I log in to CZcams!
This is such a lovely idea. It would have been nice to see "someone" model it at the end.
So cute!!! Great idea to make them all a bit different. I hope you show us the final result of all of them.
Major points! She told you she liked “reb”, she will love the ruby as the center gem!
Nik, I just love all your videos. You are so creative and you crack me up. LOL
So cute! My niece would love this!!!!
How adorable!! You know you have to make one for yourself now, right? For your visit to MacLellan's Castle!!
Helen Anderson Oh Helen - I think ALL her students next May NEED a crown don’t you...hmmmmm?!
Ha ha Carol!! Ooh look, there’s Nik, running for the hills 😂
GORGEOUS CROWN!!
I love the idea of the ribbon closure thank you for sharing
Oh goodness! It is so pretty!
Beautiful Nik! 💕
Green gem please, I'd like a green one :)
Fabulous ❤️ Thank you so much for sharing with us ❤️
Geez--I need one of those!!! Brilliant!
You are undoubtedly the coolest Auntie in the land!
I gotta confess, there are NO children in my life....so why did I willingly click on this video?
Just to hear Nik talk and craft for awhile, of course.
It was time well spent!🤗😁
I was wondering when you were going to start counting the seed pearls!!! I am always amazed that there are so many times when you show stuff that I have it in my stash!!
Nice! How super cute!
Hey Nik....you're the crown to my jewels...beautiful project...
So adorable!
The Crown Princess will luv, luv, luv this.
That is just adorable!
Lucky little girls! Fabulous!
Laugh, oh yes I did. You certainly dug a hole and jumped in there. didn't you Nik. Awe but the qudos you'll gain from this project will be worth it. I can emagine the awe in their eyes and expressions on every little cherub face. You will be the fairy god mother lol. Well for a second or two. Once the crows are on, they'll be off...aunty Nik, who's that. Kids eh. Haha. Loved that lace by the way.
Nik, thank you, I have a chubby cheek kindergarten that has crazy hat day and I've been summoned by my daughter to make my granddaughter a chapeau. Guess what she wants? Thank you sweetie, granny's on a fixed income I can do this ❣⚘much love
These turned out so very lovely
I'm thinking Halloween masks and even Mardi Gras masks using the black! Fun project!
This is really cute. I was kind of hoping you'd have someone model it. I have twin great nieces who just turned 3, guess what I'll be making them....one also likes 'reb' and the other is more of a pinky/purple kind of girl.
So fun and cute, wish i had granddaughters. TFS
This is great. Maybe if you placed parchment paper under it so it does not stick to the cutting board. And also sort out the gems beforehand and not while you’re doing the video.
Lovely, TFS. Just thought to put glue on my lace and use it as a stencil and can clean it easly. 🧡🧡🧡
squeeeeeal! i have a new granddaughter who shall a crown! thk u! 💗👶🏻👑
So stinkin’ cute!
I've used this sewed onto the collar of one of my sweaters, just didn't use heavy glue
I loved this! Thank you!
I made a lace crown last week! I sewed edges together and used rigilene in the bottom.
These are genius🥰... going to figure out a way to incorporate a tiny version into a journal “story”....
Awesome!
Great share my friend.❤❤ good to see u. Sry I've bn away. Health issues, but better now.
