Comparison of Fender Deluxe Power Stratocaster (MiM) / Fender Telecoustic
important: my sound card is sh*t, sorry for the noise.
Strings used were not the same :(
Strat strings: New set of Ernie Ball Hybrid 9s
Telecoustic Strings: Elixir nanoweb 10s (not fresh)
but still, u can hear, how great this Strat is for acoustic sounds!

Hello Peter... I just bought this guitar, and it is fantastic, thanks for your video, I just wanted to complete the idea behind switching the guitar between the piezo and the magnetic pickups. In my case I sing and play guitar, and sometimes I need to go from "acoustic" meaning piezo sent to the PA system to an overdrive sound sent to my amp, and the best way to do this is to use an stereo cable as you advised BUT instead of having to mute and unmute both volumes on the guitar (sometimes the song wont allow you to and if you sing the situation is more complicated), I ran my mono cables (that come from my stereo Y cable plugged in my guitar) through an STEREO A/B switch, now these are hard to find and I found them in the UK with a company called Bright Onion Pedals at a very reasonable price, and so as I press the pedal once (with both volumes of the guitar all the way up) I switch from Piezo (acoustic) in my PA to overdriven signal in my amp..... I use this when I play "Run" by Snow Patrol with my band......thanks again!!
Hi, Sounds great! I installed a switch into the pickguard, because I use a wireless system and it transmits only mono signal. But anyway: the piezo sounds so good :)
The acoustic guitar sounds more "nasaly" than the strat, but the strat eq has too much top end for strumming tastes, however, in a full band setting, it might just be what is required to cut through the mix.
Does it have the powerchip pream installed? Also, is there a way to do a 3 way switch (magnetic only, magnetic + piezo, piezo only) with this? Thanks
Its the factory version, yes it has the powerchip. It is possible to build a switch for this, I did it later too the way you wrote. Its much easier to switch sounds.
Thanks for a very comprehensive review of the system. One thing I was very curious about, is whether trem arm works fine, or there's any crackling noises coming from the bridge when touching it?
Trying to decide between the powerbridge and the graphtech ghost. Both seem to sound amazing.
Yes! To be honest I havent geard graphtech, but any piezo is better than the simulators :)

Nagyon megköszönném ha segítenél abban hogy ki tudna beleszerelni a hangszeremben ilyen babákat és természetesen az egész elektronikát , egy régi musicman-em van ami piezo nélküli de imádom mert egyik legjobb hangszerem amin eddig játszottam és nem szeretném lecserélni azért mert nincs benne piezo , de viszont szeretném ha tudnák belerakatni , próbáltam már új modellt amiben volt de sajna nem tetszett . Szia, hàt… ugye a Fishman Fenderhez gyárt ilyet gyárit. Ez ugye egy gyári modell, de hozzá való ez a híd, szóval annyira nem kunszt utólag sem belerakni. Nem tudom, hogy a Music Manhez van-e hozzá való, azt már talán nem akkora szívás beletenni.
