@@ceb964 It doesn't matter on a two-stroke engine, and as stated in the title he's gonna use the engine in a homemade off road buggy, and it probably making more sense to turn the head around to get better access to the spark plug. :)

Why grease bearings that's literally are going to swim in oil? And about the torquing, yeah that is the right way to do it, but with a small engine like this it is not that important,and if you are a skilled and experienced mechanic, you can do it in your sleep. :)

Do you realize that you put the cylinder head backwards, which should've been replaced in the first place as it has some its flaps broken.
