guys you need to realize that ZeDe is world champion material, along with reeps one but just reeps one may have done a bit better, Zede is still amazing. stop dissing on these machines and mad respect for both of these guys!

Beatboxing has really evolved. the guys in this year's championships aren't that good yet compared to now. plus a lot of beatboxers have invented different sounds.

AJE1111 yeah mine is NaPoM. He's one of the guys who redefined beatboxing with his liprolls and stuff. Reeps one brought fast beats and the inward drag. Plus his throat bass amazing

Ervin Sven Vihman not in this battle... Zede has much more technical beats. Reeps did a lot of throttle bass where zede had a whole different range.

i think the judging criteria was messed up. ZeDe showed more variety while Reeps just raped at what he does (dubstep and what not)

ZeDebis the old school classic kind of beatbox, ReepsOne would sound better if he deepened his bass
It's also the sound quality of the video, if you look at reeps one's vids where he uses good recording equipment it sounds a lot deeper and more refined

At the time Zede was the pioneer of his highly technical and quick fill-based style. That's how he won. Now beatboxing has advanced far beyond that level and many new school kids like Alem have transcended it and brought in a new era. So it makes sense that people now can't understand how Zede won. But having been around since Joel Turner and Roxorloops had their first championship battle, I can understand how the result turned out here.

I don't think you know much about beatboxing, but i will tell you the short version. Zede's sounds and technique overall was way harder than reeps's.

Im really not into beatboxing but these guys are super talented ! Im no expert but looks like they both deserve to be up there winning... Ive followed this Reeps for a while and he is a clever guy, I love how he talks about beatboxing in his interviews....Personally I prefer Reeps more as he sounds like a tune you would listen to ! x

Most people misunderstand this, but Toast doesnt ever break out of his comfort zone and learn new things. People say he does the same beats and most of his beats are pretty simple. Despite all this he has one of the biggest beatboxing channels on CZcams :P

If you look at older videos from Reeps you will see that he did exactly this beat before... for example in the final of the 2009 british championship!

They are two Professional beatboxers with different Beatboxing Styles, so dont judge or Rage.
