京王線と京王新線（都営新宿線直通路線）が接続駅し、京王電鉄の運行上の拠点駅としてにぎわいを見せる笹塚駅。そんな笹塚駅を行き交う列車の通過・発着風景を撮影しました。Part 1では京王線系統の列車の風景をお送りします。
Sasazuka station is a key junction of Keio line and Keio new line (linked directly to the Toei Shinjuku subway line). This time, I took trains passing through, arriving at and departing from the station. In the part 1, I show you trains running on the Keio line.

笹塚駅ですかー！笹塚駅って京王線でも、大きな分岐点(相模原線、高尾線と一緒)ではあるものの特急、準特急が止まらないのは残念ですよね…。乗り換えがその場でできない…。

ナゴケータさん。ダイヤ改定ごとに、分倍河原、北野と特急停車駅は増えつつあるものの、それらの駅よりも乗降人員・乗換人員が多いと思われる笹塚駅が急行停車までであり続けるのかが不思議ですね。速達性が失われないのはそれはそれで良いことなんですが。

I see you have an interest in KEIO trains lately! There are no 9000 trains in this video? Don't KEIO use them on this line?

Panos G - On the Greek rails since 2008 9000 Series also run on both lines frequently, however 7000 and 8000 series don't mount operation machines corresponding to the Keio new line (and Toei Shinjuku subway line). So I selected only 7000 and 8000 running on the Keio line in this movie. You can see 9000 in Part 2. Please wait until Saturday.

Keio line have a wider track than jr use

Yes. Keio uses 1,372 mm gauge track because it was built as street car route.
