excluding Rago, Ryuga is the strongest blader. Rago is shown to be like a demi god, there's a reason he is the child of the black sun. Ryuga is human and has his limits which is one of the reasons why he failed to absorb the power of nemesis. But even as a human Ryuga is far above Gingka and the Gang, infact out of all the legendary bladers, its King who can give Ryuga the best run because he can't absorb his powers when Variaries is in reverse rotation.
That doesn’t mean he lost to Gingka tho…it was never shown who won - rumors say Kyoya won & completed his beyblade career after finally defeating Gingka but who knows
It really was a shame if Kyoya had a sacred Bey with extraordinary powers, Like L Drago and Pegasus, he would be the strongest. His work ethic paired with it as well would be insane

Ryuga is way better than gingka . The power of friendship defeated the dark power three times, but gingka didn’t beat ryuga. Ryuga beat gingka twice when they both lacked the dark power and the friendship power.
To be honest while the dark power did give base Ryuga a little boost, him being able to control is power is what actually what made him broken. Can't really say he got carried by that.
He wasn’t able to control the dark power it was literally stated, he was only able to control the bey l drago itself. He didnt master the dark power till masters
Unpopular opinion but I feel like gingka had the potential to be the strongest (aside from rago) or at least as strong as ryuga, but after defeating ryuga in season 1, he kinda took a back seat in metal masters. I mean yeah he lost storm pegasus inbetween season 1 and 2, but he got galaxy pegasus which was outright stated to be sronger or as strong as l-drago by gingka's father in season 2. But then again in season 3 he was never shown to train while ryuga was constantly training in the volcanoes. Maybe he did train but i don’t reacall him doing something like ryuga. Even kenta with ryuga's training was able to make a scratch to L-drago, and that was before he got the star fragment.
I think the best feat that truly proves ryuugas might is when he faces off against the ceatus twins. When gingka battled them first he couldnt even move them from their place. But ryuuga literally slapped them apart. He was easily tossing them around like insects.
The rago vs ryuga fight is the same as ryuga vs Kyoya in s1. A strong bladder fighting against someone who was relying on a bey’s power and plot armour.

11:53 even in season 2 Ryuga was a pretty far way ahead of Gingka. when they battled just before the world final versus Damien, Ryuga explained that Pegasus full power had still not been reached. After that he disappeared again. Gingka finally learned what Ryuga meant and was able to use his performance tip to use pegasus’ new move which defeated damien. Since Ryuga was battling as a teaching moment, I assume he was holding back quite a lot.

9:58 Kyoya at the end of Fury also stated that he beat every other legendary blader and that Gingka is the only one remaining, so frankly I don’t disagree with them being roughly equals. Gingka is largely carried by plot armour and his GokuvMajinBuu Bladerspirit nonsense.
The issue with that statement is that Kyoya never stated how long it took or how many tries it took to beat them. I believe he could beat Yuki first try but bladers like King? I know it took him multiple tries to defeat him, and he definitely claimed himself as stronger after just 1 win

Not really sure if Ryuga was even human in the metal saga but in manga it is said that he is 100 years old emperor of the dragon clan. So i think its kinda unfair to exlude Rago because he is a God So for me it is: 1. Rago 2. Ryuga 3. Gingka 4. Kyoya 5. Chris Plus i think Rago was a cool character and amazing antagonist. Pluto was great too.

what Beyblade did to Yu was absolutely stupid. In season 1 he legit bet Kyoya AND Ginka in a 2v1, both one of the best bladers in the whole Beyblade. Yu had alot of potential to be one of the best, but this is where Beyblade screwed up. In season 2 is where Beyblade screwed up Yu, aint no way bro was the sub in gang gang galaxy, Yu was litterally better than Masemunay (if im spelling his name right) at that time, and bro was a sub. And in season 3 they couldve at least made him a comeback, but no, they didnt, they absolutely made him disappear for the whole seasonn 3 until midway through the season where Kyoya found that little girl as a legandary blader. Beyblade did not care about Yu at all, he legit couldve been at least top 6 one of the best bladers.
There are other characters who have the same problem as Yu. He is aguma. At the beginning of the anime, he defeated Ginka and Kyoya, and after joining evil, he always lost. The battle of Aguma and Tithi in the anime is similar to the battle of kuwabara and Rinku from Yu Yu Hakusho. They both lost to a child. I don’t know why the writer made aguma lost against tithi and king in Anime and strong in manga just like Masamune
I agree with you completely. Kyoya is absolutely equals to Gingka or can even rate higher. May be due to his rough attitude who does only believe in his own strength rather than the strength from other sources such as darkness, strength from friends or other spirits combined. Excluding Rago (clear strongest), my ranking would be: 1. Ryuga: Gingka pretty much stated that he was the strongest rival and didn't lose to anyone in Fury until Rago. Nuff said there. 2. Gingka: Could be tied with Kyoya but I'd say that towards the end before he got friendship amp to deliver the final blow to Nemesis, Pegasus was the only bey left standing after they all got hit by Nemesis' move. 3. Kyoya: Very relative to Gingka but I already explained why I have Gingka slightly above him but up to that point, would've considered them equals from Masters + Fury. Also, at the end of Fury, its implied that those 2 were the strongest alive and Kyoya beat the other legendary bladers off-screen. 4. Kenta: This is with Flash Sagittario gaining the star fragment from Ryuga. I would put him above Chris due to the fact that with a weaker version of his bey, he was pressing Gingka in the tournament heavy. And was able to damage L-Drago's face bolt, forcing Ryuga to get serious for a moment. With Flash Sagitarrio, he'd be stronger. 5. Chris: As a legendary blader of the 4 seasons, they imply relativity with each other. Pressed Gingka quite hard despite losing in the end. Honourable mention: King: He pressed Ryuga quite a bit despite losing against him in the tournament. Rago's goon: He was pressing Kenta quite a bit despite losing in the end. So worth mentioning.
rago was only able to defeat ryuga after absorbing all the powers of the legendary bladers, so ryuga was fighting against like 9 of the strongest bladers ever, he didnt lose to gingka because it was l-drago controlling him so technically ryuga only lost once. and it was genuinely impossible to win, so id say ryuga has never lost and is the strongest blader of all time

Gingka is named the strongest attack type and has the beyblade strong enough to defend L drago. Ryuga could come close to defeating nemesis and Gingko did. Ots a shut case.

Me personally I'd say 5. Chris 4. Kyoya 3. Gingka 2. King 1. Ryuga (Not including Rago cause he's number 1 by far). I think King's feats against Ryuga and the God of destruction already put him above every other blader, and we see him easily matching and outmatching Gingka when Chris is introduced (even if it wasn't a serious battle). People can debate it but theres a very good argument for King being above Gingka and Kyoya.
um.. by using kyoyas words at the end of fury, he managed to defeat every legendary blader and it was just left gingka. so by using that logic kyoya>king.

We never know how many times he battled each blader to finally beat them. For example, if me and you battle 49 times and I lose each time, and then I finally win once (on the 50th battle) who's stronger you or me? Definitely still you but it doesn't stop the fact that I won the latest battle. A good example is beyblade burst dynamite battle, where Bell faces Lui a multitude of times and keeps losing, but finally manages to win one time. Narratively, Lui was still stronger but Bell could easily make the same claim as Kyoya "I've beaten every legendary blader" (at that point he actually had). So Kyoya's statement can't be weighted too heavily due to the ambiguity of it. Bladers like Yuki would be relatively easy for him but who knows how long it took him to finally beat King once? Even masamune beat Gingka once when he had infinite tries (back in metal masters) but he wasn't close to Gingka's strength; another example of this. It would be wrong to say Masamune>Gingka at that point or any point in the series. TLDR: Kyoya's statement is too ambiguous to be taken seriously

Maybe he did just train and surpass all of them, therefore beating them first time but we can't comment on what we don't know. That's why it's debatable between him, Gingka and King but I'll admit my bias as King is my favourite character. Even so, I'm just happy it's not a one sided convo and can be argued either way, I just agree more with the evidence that points to King being stronger.
You are reaching hard with that statement with Kyoya, I think it’s pretty clear that Kyoya and Gingka are stronger. Saying that he didn’t say he beat king more times then king beat him is a hard reach, I mean I could make the same argument saying that Kyoya beat King 1-0. While you can say his feat against ryuga was good but saying King got the better of Gingka when Chris was introduced is such a reach, Gingka wasn’t trying to beat king, he was trying to hold him back while king was actually fighting. But it’s been made narratively that Kyoya is stronger then King and equal to Gingka. I’m gonna end it with this, we know Kyoya has beaten King, we don’t know if King has ever beaten Kyoya, so to put King above Kyoya is disingenuous. Also narratively speaking it would make sense that Kyoya has a winning record vs all the legendary bladers before fighting Gingka. I do believe King beats every other legendary blader other then the big three.
This is a great video! I like how well informed you are about the characters and made some great points about the placement of your top five strongest bladers in the metal saga, but I've to respectfully disagree on somethings that you didn't take into account. I say Ginga is stronger than Kyoya, because Ginga in metal masters didn't fully master his bey galaxy Pegasus by the time of their battle and didn't have a bey to train with for a whole year. He was still able to tie Kyoya with that handicap and disadvantage. You could argue that they were comparable at the beginning at metal fury, but Ginga actually did better in his battle with Ryuga than Kyoya did. Also, Ryuga being the strongest blader is kind of debatable, because every time Ginga fought Ryuga in metal masters and fury. Ryuga had already mastered his bey, while Ginga was battling Ryuga with an unmastered bey. I know that Ginga admitted that Ryuga is the strongest, after Rago defeated him, but that could be Ginga comparing their strengths of when they battled at the volcano. I personally believe that Ginga and Ryuga are equal, if not rival each other in power. Also, Rago isn't a god, he just refers himself as one.

The verbal beatdown he gave Gingka at the Dark Nebula castle was something else. I've rarely seen a blader break someone's spirit that hard. What Damian did to Julian comes close.
I know that King did not push Ryuga to the edge. At the end of the battle he didn't even use his Special Move. At the end all Ryuga did was say "You think that will finish me, you shouldn't mess with the Dragon Emperor" Then Ryuga won the battle. If King "Pushed Him to the very edge" why didn't he need to use his Special Move? THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!
King did push Ryuga to his edge, the special move is a technique at the highest percentages of the bladers power but same height can be reached without saying special move, one evidence is that medoka said once each hit had enough power of a special move in ryuga vs kyoya metal fusion.
Yes he was lol, king had el drago falling on the floor , and he was laughing at ryuga who was just in utter shock at how powerful king was , ryuga had to change back specifically to his attack mode and his beys face bolt showed the way a special move always does, plus madoka once stated that a bey can have the power of a special move without even saying or using it directly, plus ryuga was breathing heavily after using that attack against king, and it was identical to the way El drago in supreme flight pushed saggitario into a mountain, the same exact way , so yes he did use his special move

As much as I wana put kyoya over gingka like let’s be real. If gingka had stardust driver mastered when he fought kyoya in the world championship and his bey traveled through space then came down at the speed of light like it did with Damian. What is kyoya gonna counter with, like none of his moves could stop that don’t matter how strong his tornado is.
Kenta is a wild card imo. He gave nemesis a good run by himself, but to be fair, they had to amp him up for that episode since flash sagitario made its debut, and most bey debut episodes have the blader significantly amped up. I’m not sure how he would hang individually with the likes of King, Gingka or Kyoya.

Ryuga was really weak in fusion, objectively speaking. While it's true Gingka got help from others, looking at the grand scheme of things you would realise how strong Gingka was! Ryuga had powers of countless canon fodders bladers, Kyoya's, Hikaru's, Tsubasa's, Captain Capri's, Ryutoro's, Twin brother's, the bear brother's, Tetsuya's, Doji's power plus his own power with the help of pegasus! Gingka had his own pegasus power and Tsubasa's, Kyoya's and Hikaru's power. Yup. Gingka was stronger than Ryuga!

Unpopular opinion but I feel like gingka had the potential to be the strongest (aside from rago) or at least as strong as ryuga, but after defeating ryuga in season 1, he kinda took a back seat in metal masters. I mean yeah he lost storm pegasus inbetween season 1 and 2, but he got galaxy pegasus which was outright stated to be sronger or as strong as l-drago by gingka's father in season 2. But then again in season 3 he was never shown to train while ryuga was constantly training in the volcanoes. Maybe he did train but i don’t reacall him doing something like ryuga. Even kenta with ryuga's training was able to make a scratch to L-drago, and that was before he got the star fragment.
I think the best feat that truly proves ryuugas might is when he faces off against the ceatus twins.

11:53 even in season 2 Ryuga was a pretty far way ahead of Gingka. when they battled just before the world final versus Damien, Ryuga explained that Pegasus full power had still not been reached. The issue with that statement is that Kyoya never stated how long it took or how many tries it took to beat them. I believe he could beat Yuki first try but bladers like King? I know it took him multiple tries to defeat him, and he definitely claimed himself as stronger after just 1 win

what Beyblade did to Yu was absolutely stupid. In season 1 he legit bet Kyoya AND Ginka in a 2v1, both one of the best bladers in the whole Beyblade. Yu had alot of potential to be one of the best, but this is where Beyblade screwed up. In season 2 is where Beyblade screwed up Yu, aint no way bro was the sub in gang gang galaxy, Yu was litterally better than Masemunay (if im spelling his name right) at that time, and bro was a sub. And in season 3 they couldve at least made him a comeback, but no, they didnt, they absolutely made him disappear for the whole seasonn 3 until midway through the season where Kyoya found that little girl as a legandary blader. Beyblade did not care about Yu at all, he legit couldve been at least top 6 one of the best bladers.
There are other characters who have the same problem as Yu. He is aguma. At the beginning of the anime, he defeated Ginka and Kyoya, and after joining evil, he always lost. The battle of Aguma and Tithi in the anime is similar to the battle of kuwabara and Rinku from Yu Yu Hakusho. They both lost to a child. I don’t know why the writer made aguma lost against tithi and king in Anime and strong in manga just like Masamune

Excluding Rago (clear strongest), my ranking would be:
1. Ryuga: Gingka pretty much stated that he was the strongest rival and didn't lose to anyone in Fury until Rago. Nuff said there.
2. Gingka: Could be tied with Kyoya but I'd say that towards the end before he got friendship amp to deliver the final blow to Nemesis, Pegasus was the only bey left standing after they all got hit by Nemesis' move.
3. Kyoya: Very relative to Gingka but I already explained why I have Gingka slightly above him but up to that point, would've considered them equals from Masters + Fury. Also, at the end of Fury, its implied that those 2 were the strongest alive and Kyoya beat the other legendary bladers off-screen.
4. Kenta: This is with Flash Sagittario gaining the star fragment from Ryuga. I would put him above Chris due to the fact that with a weaker version of his bey, he was pressing Gingka in the tournament heavy. And was able to damage L-Drago's face bolt, forcing Ryuga to get serious for a moment. With Flash Sagitarrio, he'd be stronger.
5. Chris: As a legendary blader of the 4 seasons, they imply relativity with each other. Pressed Gingka quite hard despite losing in the end.
Honourable mention:
King: He pressed Ryuga quite a bit despite losing against him in the tournament.
Rago's goon: He was pressing Kenta quite a bit despite losing in the end. So worth mentioning.

I think King's feats against Ryuga and the God of destruction already put him above every other blader, and we see him easily matching and outmatching Gingka when Chris is introduced (even if it wasn't a serious battle). People can debate it but theres a very good argument for King being above Gingka and Kyoya.
um.. by using kyoyas words at the end of fury, he managed to defeat every legendary blader and it was just left gingka. so by using that logic kyoya>king.

For example, if me and you battle 49 times and I lose each time, and then I finally win once (on the 50th battle) who's stronger you or me? Definitely still you but it doesn't stop the fact that I won the latest battle.
A good example is beyblade burst dynamite battle, where Bell faces Lui a multitude of times and keeps losing, but finally manages to win one time. Narratively, Lui was still stronger but Bell could easily make the same claim as Kyoya "I've beaten every legendary blader" (at that point he actually had).
So Kyoya's statement can't be weighted too heavily due to the ambiguity of it. Bladers like Yuki would be relatively easy for him but who knows how long it took him to finally beat King once? Even masamune beat Gingka once when he had infinite tries (back in metal masters) but he wasn't close to Gingka's strength; another example of this. It would be wrong to say Masamune>Gingka at that point or any point in the series.
TLDR: Kyoya's statement is too ambiguous to be taken seriously

That's why it's debatable between him, Gingka and King but I'll admit my bias as King is my favourite character. Even so, I'm just happy it's not a one sided convo and can be argued either way, I just agree more with the evidence that points to King being stronger.
You are reaching hard with that statement with Kyoya, I think it’s pretty clear that Kyoya and Gingka are stronger. Saying that he didn’t say he beat king more times then king beat him is a hard reach, I mean I could make the same argument saying that Kyoya beat King 1-0. While you can say his feat against ryuga was good but saying King got the better of Gingka when Chris was introduced is such a reach, Gingka wasn’t trying to beat king, he was trying to hold him back while king was actually fighting. But it’s been made narratively that Kyoya is stronger then King and equal to Gingka. I’m gonna end it with this, we know Kyoya has beaten King, we don’t know if King has ever beaten Kyoya, so to put King above Kyoya is disingenuous. This is a great video! I like how well informed you are about the characters and made some great points about the placement of your top five strongest bladers in the metal saga, but I've to respectfully disagree on somethings that you didn't take into account. I say Ginga is stronger than Kyoya, because Ginga in metal masters didn't fully master his bey galaxy Pegasus by the time of their battle and didn't have a bey to train with for a whole year. He was still able to tie Kyoya with that handicap and disadvantage. You could argue that they were comparable at the beginning at metal fury, but Ginga actually did better in his battle with Ryuga than Kyoya did. Also, Ryuga being the strongest blader is kind of debatable, because every time Ginga fought Ryuga in metal masters and fury. Ryuga had already mastered his bey, while Ginga was battling Ryuga with an unmastered bey. I know that Ginga admitted that Ryuga is the strongest, after Rago defeated him, but that could be Ginga comparing their strengths of when they battled at the volcano. I personally believe that Ginga and Ryuga are equal, if not rival each other in power. Also, Rago isn't a god, he just refers himself as one.

I know that King did not push Ryuga to the edge. At the end of the battle he didn't even use his Special Move. At the end all Ryuga did was say "You think that will finish me, you shouldn't mess with the Dragon Emperor" Then Ryuga won the battle. If King "Pushed Him to the very edge" why didn't he need to use his Special Move? THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!
Kenta did a better job than king since he used his special move on kenta, but I enjoyed the king vs. ryuga fight a little bit more.
King did push Ryuga to his edge, the special move is a technique at the highest percentages of the bladers power but same height can be reached without saying special move, one evidence is that medoka said once each hit had enough power of a special move in ryuga vs kyoya metal fusion.

Kenta is a wild card imo. He gave nemesis a good run by himself, but to be fair, they had to amp him up for that episode since flash sagitario made its debut, and most bey debut episodes have the blader significantly amped up.
I’m not sure how he would hang individually with the likes of King, Gingka or Kyoya.
