  • For those of us who like to build up our trucks, parking your rig in the garage can be problem. In this video I go over how to fit your lifted truck in the garage. The best way to fit your lifted truck in the garage is to cut your garage taller, I'll go over cost, planning, and what to know when taking this project on. Enjoy!

Great video. I actually just need ~3” for the antenna, and now I’m encouraged try to cut that out and have some sort of a solution for the opening

I am getting contractor quotes to do this exact thing and they are saying it’s massively complicated, requires engineering and permitting, and they are quoting $6k - $14k for just their part. Who did you find to do it for $3k??

Thx for the guidance, I've been wanting to do this but expected it to be a larger effort, calling the contractors now. Thx for the inspiration

In Florida almost all houses are block, with a poured solid beam across garage door. Looks easy to do on stick homes.

Most informative video out there! I just bought a house with the same setup as yours but the home is brick. Hoping the price still falls within the $3,000 range.

I would think that's still doable for under $3k. Best of luck man! Thanks for checking out the channel.

I built my entire 8' door 25x25 garage for $6,200 in two weekends. How are you paying near that just for a door?
