Great list. I’m getting them all for Christmas. I’m looking forward to the vampirates. Question for who ever has played them. Is there anything to do besides sack and raid. Coastal settlements? Can you go ashore? Is there like a cool hidden treasure mechanic? Big fan btw. Would love to see you do a mortal empires campaign soon!
If you include unit power then shadow and blade should be in top 3 because poison wind mortars are the strongest unit against infantry globs in siege attack.
id sitll put Prophet and Warlock number 1, but tbh, as someone whose played not an AWFUL lot of lizardmen or skaven, but a decent bit, i enjoyed the Cult of Sotek more than Ikit Claw, mainly because the pyramid actually feels like something i can complete that isn't reliant on chance. Like, don't get me wrong, i love the nukes and the weapons teams, but my own preference playstyle preference doesn't mesh super well with the skaven and their undercities and so on. In terms of what lord pack ive enjoyed both halves of equally, honestly would have to be either Silent and Fury or Twisted and Twilight, the former mostly for the units, Gorgons and Jabberslythes are amazing and the Skink Oracle is genuinely my favorite hero in the game and the latter due to the different playstyle. RAF Elves v Frakenstien Rats is just so stupid and fun
I think "the hunter & the best" is the worst Warhammer 2 DLC, the lizardmen campaign is pretty weak (even with mods), I was never a fan of the Empire so I didn't cared much about them (even if the unique heroes are neat)... I pick that up simply because I am big fan of the lizardmen, but I almost regret it (fucking predatory DLCs smh many of these units and lords should be included at the base game, at launch). As for the best DLCs, top 1 is the Vampire Coast, I love the theme, Count Noctilus is a badass character and possibly have the best starting position in the whole game (for thematic/role playing purposes, you can't be more pirate/ghost ship than that), lore of the deep looks cool, etc.. top 2 is the Ikit Claw DLC (arguably the coolest legendary lord in the entire trilogy), all the skaven technology and cheer charisma, it's just great. And top 3 is Grom, also very charismatic (the Greenskin are my second favorite race in the entire setting, only behind the Dark Elves), the food mechanics are fun, etc.. All of these DLC have a lot potential for mods, especially the Vampire Coast with the human pirates and sharkmen... by the way, I should reupload the old VC expanded roster, the original author is gone for whatever reason
Colonel, you really need to drop the shameless Dark gods edition plug. Cuz players save money in getting Wh1, and even if they dont like Norsca and WoC if they do play them in the future they're already in the pocket, so its a win-win situation.

Discount on steam 5.56 euro so it was time to buy n try it and for this amount it cant really go wrong(not like the realease of avatar n nightingale i bought at once n didnt like them at all). So in a few hours its time to try out this game(been intrested since release of the 1st game,but hate online only games) So will i like it(hope so so i can get dlcs at once at a great discount) Thanks 4 video n info of dlcs.
unpopular opinion but beastmen got downgraded atleast for me after the rework . they are way more viable now yes but idk why we shy away from true hordes like chaos warriors in warhammer 2 which even them in 3 can occupy settlements now .
To his credit, norsca was better than belegar in the WH1. Now, its one of the hardest faction to play. He likes artillery so it makes senses that he doesn’t like being sneaky with snikch and with those higher recruit cost.

My fave is probably Rise of the Tomb Kings! 4 new Legendary Lords, so unique and very strong late game.

They are my favourite, but they aren't very good. Looks like they're getting a bit buffed in Immortal Empires though.
