Thanks for this, made it with thick card but it didn't quite hold by itself so stapled the joins together and works great! Going to make it again but with prettier card. Thanks again!

oml this worked for me! i decided to make this for my dad since he didnt have a standing phone case,but you have to use hard paper for it!

A lot of you say it didn’t work, but I believe that’s because you didn’t use a sturdy enough material. Paper is out of the question, as it is way too flimsy. But if you use cardboard, or stronger paper like card paper, it will most likely work!
А вы сами делали я сегодня сделала и бумага у меня была чуть прочнее чем у него но если что б телефон не падал надо было сказать ,товарищи варите из железа и тогда у вас будет стоять как у моего дедушки в 100 лет и вам того желаю

The real trick is that you can place a piece of cardboard inside the back of the paper where it takes all the load of the phone and just a bit taping at required places and it works. Both horizontal and vertical.
Just requires a good placing of the cardboard and tape.

It only works if you put tape on the support
Or you can cut cardboard in the shape of it. That’s what I did and I worked just fine!
It doesn't work, only for a few seconds!!! Not good sorry...

Amazing but I think you need to do it with a hard paper cause it works for me with hard paper and plus I saw a lot of comments that it doesnt work.
I think they used bond paper i used construction paper and it worked

A4( hard paper)
Woww very nice ... This helped me a lot in my online studies.. I just made it using normal A4 sized colour sheet.. It actually works.. in starting I thought we need something like cardboard but I was wrong... It was made very easily and amazingly.. thanks for this I yruely neede it

My was too heavy so I put my 2 ninja star origami and it doesn't fall so atleast I have somewhere to put my stars or I Have to find my star and I find it in a weird spot
I tried this with normal printer paper but it was not sturdy enough. So then I tried it with card stock and it worked!! I would recommend using sturdier paper.
