    Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorial. I'm fairly new to crocheting hats, and find your voice very soothing, your instructions very clear and your choice of yarn extremely genius. I also greatly appreciate that you don't play silly elevator music, I like the silence as you complete your work, makes it much easier to concentrate and follow. Again thank you, for this visual learner, I've finally found a great teacher. I've subscribed and hope to be able to make many of your designs as my goal is to keep making hats, gloves and scarves and donate it to those who need it the most in my community.

    I made this with a #5 Bulky yarn and a 6mm hook. I ended with 54 rows of SC BLO for my 19” brim. I added a yarn Pom Pom. It turned out great! Thank you for the tutorial.

    Loving this so far! It's worked in multiples of 9? I should have done the gauge test but I didn't.. so I went back and decreased it from 81 down to 72 stitches and it's fitting my adult head much better now. I want to try making this again using a fuzzy yarn and I will definitely be doing a gauge.

    Hi Sarah.. This was explained so beautifully.. I'm gonna try my hands at this but want a piece of advice. I want to make this with a little slouch. At which row should I start my decrease?? Also if the circumference of the head is 57 how many Half double crochet should I do. I always get confused with the 81 or 84 count you say as I'm an amateur and trying to make the most of this lockdown.
    And yeah. I finished the Elizabeth stitch beanie. However, towards the top, got confused with the stitch.. but still my niece loved it. 😅Love you for your work.. wish I could attach a pic of it🙂🙂

  • @valerie9111
    @valerie9111 Před rokem

    Is this yarn equivalent to arran weight in the UK please. Its so confusing as in the UK the dominant yarn is DK but it looks thinner than what you are using. I've lost count of the projects I've abandoned because it's obvious it looks too small. Lovely hat by the way.

    Idk what it is. But every time I follow a tutorial video, my stuff ends up so much bigger than what it's supposed to be. I've been. Rochetong for 30+ years and it's always been like this. And I'm not a loose corcheter. Not at all. I just can't figure this out. I am using a standard Medium worsted weight 4 yarn. Red heart comfort in a creme and safe Green colour. Yet it's HUGE.
