Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a well-established method in the manufacturing industry, commonly applied to optimize product/process reliability and cost. It requires cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate the product/process functions, to continuously improve them to reduce risks. The FMEA is a living document and is re-evaluated many times during its lifecycle.
The purpose is to understand the key difference between the old (2008) and the new version so that the new FMEA (Handbook: AIAG & VDA 1st Edition 2019) can be effectively understood and implemented in the organization.

Thank you sir you are the best, Please could you help, what are the inputs of FMEA ( for me it's work instruction, process flow chart and also Drawings for CSR point), the auditor told me that I need to have the list of special characteristic and it must be approved by the customer, that will be our input they didn't accept that I used the drawing they said that in the drawing you will find all the key but in the special characteristic list you will find the key point that you approved with customer in order to check in the line all the time.

Dear Kamelia, thanks for your query. I think, both you and auditor seems to be right bu it needs to be properly articulated from your side. If the organization is design responsible, the list of special characteristics can be shared to the customer for their review and approval in the form of drawing, FMEA, Control plan or as a separate list.
