Bulan is a Moon God, one of the moon god and goddess. Bulan is sometimes considered as the God of Homosexuality. According to Phil. Myth, many gods and goddesses were at awe with Bulan’s beauty. One of these gods and goddesses was Sidapa, the God of Death. So, Bulan and Sidapa became lovers which is why most deaths happened during nighttime because Bulan and Sidapa are together.

The reason why Ino was leaving letters there was because of the Marahuyo tradition of offering poems to the sea which was allegedly popularized by his ancestor Mariano Soliman. It was not intended for King. He just happened to find it and assumed it was about him since he was the only “dayuhan” as per the poem.
