This is tutorial on how to paint in, Overcast light, Mixed Light, Translucent Light, Reflected light, core shadows, cast shadows, deeper shadows, secondary light, and atmospheric light. I’m first going to explain what all these types of light and shadow are and then I’m going to do 6 step by step paintings so you can see how to use light and shadow on rock landscapes.
