I’d like to see you test cross compatibility between this and the Craftsman versatrack accessories. I know that the rails are different, but those bins are identical (just yellow instead of red).
100 percent. I have Versatrack up north ad this at home. I will test next week. I believe Versatrack will fit but be sloppy. The clip on versatrack stuff will most likely not fit.
Finally a real review. I bought the rails and a lot of the attachments. These are going in my race trailer. Unfortunately, the system for attaching the pieces to the rail is a loose fit. If these are going in a van (or in my case a trailer) wouldnt we want a more secure fit? I was expecting all the pieces to fit like the yellow screw box did in your video. It snapped on, nice and secure. The drill holster does not snap on. You twist the screw/yellow tab piece at the bottom and it essentially makes it so the piece is not going to come off if pulled, but it's not at all secure. I could see these all sliding left to right in the van. Not cool. What would you suggest is the remedy? Im considering laying some silicone in the clip on bracket to get rid of the play and create sorta the snap on effect that Im looking for? What are your thoughts?
@@WorkshopAddict You're right, I did not watch the full video. Thanks for covering the topic for those of us that will be going mobile with this setup. Foam tape is a great idea.
@@WorkshopAddict i would love to buy this DWST82824 but Unfortunately we dont have that many DW prodoct avilable in Europe like DCCS623 witch is still not in EU

If you watched the full video, I discuss the fitment and the variation between wall mounting brackets. Either some foam tape or silicone would help.

Where did you get the dewalt catalog from? Thanks
It was in the box with the storage kit.
This item is not worth $200. Can I buy just the battery holder?
Yes and it is reasonably priced. acmetools.pxf.io/nLZV19

Sounds like they need to do some more work
Dewalt needs to hire some better engineers 😂
$200! Youcan get a slat wall starter kit for that kind of money.
Look at more sketchy places for less. Seen one on ebay for 120. Hate to link to ebay.
