Haven't seen this one in a while. I felt as angry today as I did when it aired live when they said Melvin Gordon broke Perine's rushing record. It was actually Perine who broke the record a week after Gordon did and still has it to this day at 427 yards rushing in one game. Great game though and gave birth to the rise of Baker Mayfield's legacy as a Sooner. He'll always be my QB1.
Crazy looking back at it. If I remember right, this was Baker’s second start at OU. Baker was horrible for 75% of this game. And then on that first drive of the 4th quarter, he just flipped a switch and became elite. And then he never looked back and the rest is history. A special player.

Proud of my Sooners for hanging tough in a game where they were largely outplayed, but we were insanely lucky to come out on top. Got bailed out by some critical penalties on third downs, a questionable PI call, a missed procedure penalty and Westwood recovering his own football. Any of those don't go our way, and that's probably a very deserved loss.

I work at Tinker AFB where we overhaul all KC135s aircraft. I’m in constant contact with their ANG unit which fly these reliable aircrafts. One day I sent a photo of their vertical-tail with Baker sticking the flag over the “O” of Ohio State. I explained to them that was how their aircraft tail was to painted...needless to say, they enjoyed the joke. It still puzzles me why the Volunteers aren’t beating up on the rest of the SEC; including Bama and Auburn. They have the dollars, fan-base, stadium, etc...Did I mention $$$$$$, and lots of it. So why aren’t they winning the SEC division, SEC championship?

He won a Natty and 3 SEC crowns I believe in his tenure and constantly in the upper bowl games and was ultimately let go after his 2nd losing season in 14 years. Our AD went with the “hot hand” and hired Kiffin after he failed with the raiders. He left in the middle of the night for his “dream job” in USC and he was fired in his 3rd year after he got blown out by ASU. UT went cheap and hired Dooley afterwards after his Louisiana Tech team went 17-20 only because of his last name. In his 3 years he never beat Florida, Georgia, or Alabama and never had a winning season. Our new AD promptly hired butch Jones from Cincanati and he did excellent as a recruiter but could never develop, had multiple 5* each recruiting class and could not develop to save his job. Conservative coaching and the inability to adapt ultimately cost him his job after 5 years. The new fad at the time was hiring defensive minded coaches, Espicially right after GA hired smart, Tennessee ultimately settled with Alabama’s defense coordinator in Jeremy Pruitt and thought his nick saban mentality would work in Knoxville and could never keep up with the talent that the rest of the SEC had, always one spot down of everyone else. :(

We’ll dammit, feel the same way I did when I was there 7 years ago. We blew it. Some bad calls, but Dobbs missed one wide open receiver after another all night, which became his MO. North end zone can see receivers 20 yards open but Dobbs just really struggled throwing it downfield and failed to work through progressions. Little wonder we were ready to be so fed up with JG, who didn’t know what a progression was. Painful to watch again.
For anyone that claims uncatchable pass should nullify a pass interference call, you are incorrect. The rules say that pass interference occurs regardless of the quality of the pass.

Wasn't even close. i love my Sooners, but I can't stand bad officiating, regardless of who it benefits. Should have been 3rd and 6. Period. They tried to make up for it with a later holding call, but Butch Jones's fury toward the refs was well deserved.
