Listening to them talk about having kids... I think Karl would be a good Dad. He has a way at looking at things and life, that would be very beneficial for dealing with children and teens. He had a decent work ethic as a youth, to pass on to his child. His empathy towards other folks that are 'different', would be helpful, in the off chance his child had special needs. His awareness of the area he lives in, and general observation of the folks in his community, would help him stay aware of what his kid is involved in. Those are good characteristics for parents.

@@Crashawsome It has nothing to do with what he reads, that makes him a good candidate as a parent. My dad read Scientific American, and Physics magazines. What made him a good dad tho, was spending time with me, and teaching me things he knew, such as basic home repairs, and giving me encouragement, when I worked to improve myself. That is what makes a good dad.
