I disagree whole heartedly. God tells us women to be modest and to cover our bodies. No one has the RIGHT to see your breast or any private part of your body. That is for your husband, not the world. Unfortunately, the world is over sexualized, and nursing a baby shouldn't be seen that way, but it is? Let God's word be true and everything else be a lie!
We are all born naked. Breastfeeding in public is legal everywhere in the United States. It’s a choice of preference for the mother and how comfortable she is doing so. Not for anyone in the public to make the choice for her because of their own beliefs. I breastfeed in public as a first time mother in Hawaii and always felt ok to do so. If someone has a problem with it, they could remove themselves from where my baby was nursing. She has to eat too and sometimes that’s in public just like any human.
