    Been dying to do this one for forever now, huge shoutout to Vinscool for showing me that Altirra 3.9 allows disabling audio channels!
    Too bad channel 4 seems to have some pops. I couldn't figure out how to remove those without distorting the sound. Oh well.

    I want to do the DOS version of the game next. Any other suggestions for music to try and visualize? I'm all ears!

      Make "Sample me again!" of Atari 2600

      @Youssef Land I'll see about it. Doing POKEY on 2600 is really difficult

      Yep, Roy Glover sure knew how to compose for the PoKEY

    Seems to sound noisy (lots of crackling). I've got pretty much every Atari model of system and they don't sound like that. Hrmm

    • @AiOinc1
      @AiOinc1  Před 2 lety

      The crackling is coming from only channel 4 of the recording. No matter what settings I put it to, the emulator I used was consistently noisy from only channel 4.

      @@AiOinc1 Wait... Emulator? I have the game and genuine hardware. Let me know if you want me to provide a clean audio track for a re-upload (or, if I can run the oscilloscope software, I could try it).

      @@DanRamosDR Yep this is on emulator. If you have a way to split all 4 channels on hardware do get a good recording and get in touch with me on Discord @VCSMaster#7466. This was the best I was able to get with the emulator.

    Is it just me or does that sound like the song from the atari 8bit computer

      That's probably because this is exactly what it is. Read the title

      @AiOinc1  Před 9 měsíci

      The TIA has 2 channels. This is PoKEY, which has 4, hence the title.
