With respect to the putty, should it be applied as soon as the piece comes out of the print? Or do you have to sand it first? Can I use plastic putty?

if I apply prime pu...it doesn't cover the lines, leaving unnecessary sanding?
What are you using along with the tint to make the visor and what do you use to Hing the top of the helmet

It looks great. There is one flaw I noticed (imo this would make the helmet 100% perfect). The inner edges where the 2 halves meet need to be painted red. I can clearly see it's a different color even without you opening it (11:23). Same goes for the bottom edge which I think you did but couldn't get a good look at. I'm not trying to hate. You said you do commissions and this would kill me if I saw it on any of my helmets.
yes i do commissions but these vids are just a tutorial to show people how they can paint and the items to use

i split them and my infill is 15%

@@JavaHero I have the Creality cr 10 which works best for printing out the PR helmets anythig smaller then that might have to be sliced in to sections

Elastic straps secured with contact cement n foam pieces

Hi buddy, congratulations great job. I have a question. I have to print it for me, my head is 18cm wide and the circumference is 57cm. Do I need to print this project at 100% size? Or do I need to downsize? Thanks for the help 🙏🏻

Very good I always add vent wholes but the helmets still get hit n stuffy such as the user used in the shows

well to start off i would suggest the Creality CR10

well I would stay for the creality printers are great cr 10 cr10s pro anything with 300x300x400 build space is good or bigger but bigger is more expensive as well

@@kuriboh635 i cant recommend the best cause i have not tried them all but what is affordable it rustoleum and you can use automotive paint but the price gets hirer from there

well it depends on the person and how much work you have on your plate can take a person a week or months

@@mutantclown911 no there was no need to heat it up ibn just placed it in the inside and it stayed secure

The problem with this 3D model is the Visor is to wide in the middle and the Lips on the the helmet are wrong. The lips on this model are actually more similar to time force. And the Silver area is to wide. I bought the print and wasn't happy. :/
Yea since that video I no longer print usinf that model I was actually able to model a more accurate version now

Not too difficult but you need determination n enjoy creating
@@OscarGoldenImageTubeLarrea I am obsessed with Power Rangers and I am obsessed with the helmets and I love to create I have an art degree and I used to do drawing and I feel that maybe my art degree could come in handy and make these just for fun you know if I get good at it maybe then seldom but I thought it would be fun to create my own helmets

Not bad man not bad . But I sculpt my own ranger helmet's bye hand . The details are lacking in quality with a 3D printer that you just don't get form sculpting your own.
It may look smooth but there are deep print lines on some parts of the print
