Main team offense looks alright. I hope La'Norris can live up to his potential. The defense, especially the new players in the secondary and on the line look pretty solid. Good blitz and nice job breaking through on that O-Line
I am VERY concerned, yet again, on our O-Line. For what feels like the 15th year in a row, the O-Line looks very fraudulent. I hope we can get that tidied up during the summer and fall. We sure need it

Spring game OLs are always questionable because of the way we chose teams. It’s not the true starting lineup so it should hopefully be better by the fall, plus some freshmen and other stuff. Hopefully it’s better. Hopefully

Sellers looks good. Otherwise looks like the same Gameocks. They can be anywhere from 4 wins to 8 wins is the ceiling for them. OL and DL still look like they need work.

Shane , I've been your biggest supporter. You've done some good stuff. This is year 4 and i want this team to hold its on with everyone on our schedule. I think you're on the right track , but a big season would be nice. It seems like every year we recruit about 25th nationally and 11th in conference. We've got to turn the corner. I've followed this program all my life and we've never had a good team without a solid running game and a lot of in state players
We just might be really good upfront defensively
As a sc fan they didnt look good this year, o-line still looks trash, ill be surprised if we go 6-6
Spring games are for fans and recruiting, the starters are split up, a bunch of our best players aren't even playing and none of them have gotten a full offseason, chill
@@djgamecx9489 their not properly coached, back when steve spurrier was coaching and they played their spring games they looked like a top 5 team, this team looks like they arent properly coached, the o line doesnt look any better if not even worse from last year which is a big reason why we couldnt run the ball or pass last year, had one of the best qbs and did nothing with it, if beamer doesnt fire the o line coach the secendary coach and the d line coach hes gonna be fired within the next 4 years, its ok you just dont know football.

We had the worst rushing defense in almost the entire league last year, and its the same coach we had last year, hes coaching this year, the coaches straight suck.

Wideouts also have to catch it when it’s thrown plus break off routes a lot better
OL wasn’t good but also wasn’t starting unit so some struggles makes sense
@@curlyqv2467 Apparently that could be the starting unit because the coaches have not decided on a starting 5 yet... That's why I believe Beamer should go ahead and announce Lanorris as the starting QB and focus on other issues....
@@Carolina-gj1wh The coach can focus on more than one thing at a time, you know that right? Competition leads to growth, so having Ashford and Sellers compete is good. Both play similar anyways so the line should be able to work with both. But communication between OL and having connections along the line is sooooo important to being a good line, and maybe they were a bit outside of their best lineup. There's really no way of knowing, so you can't assume that this is the line you are going to see. They haven't decided on a starting line, so why would you expect these to be the starting lines? ESPECIALLY with how these teams were decided from a draft
@@curlyqv2467 I would like to think the coaches can focus on multiple things but I'm not so sure about ours....Do you realize how long our O line has been bad?? Way too long ... Doesn't matter who the quarterback is if the O line is bad again this year we're in trouble......

Who cares? How can you even be excited about college football anymore with what has happened to it? Staff does all of the leg work to land a five star, only to have him transfer to another program in a season or two. Sure, we (USC) might land some talented players from the transfer portal, but we are more appealing to blue chip high school recruits than we are to transfer portal prospects. I do not think its really fair to Shane Beamer because the greatest coach of all time (Nick Saban) stopped coaching. I believe it had much more to do with how the landscape of college football has changed over the last few years than it did age, health, spending time with family, etc. I fully believe we could have competed for a national championship in the old college football landscape. In the current landscape, i think it will be MUCH more difficult. Let's say you have a young team that overachieves and wins 9-10 games, with 18+ returning starters, it is highly unlikely that at least 25-30% of the potential returning starters will not be lured away by enticing (and lucrative) offers from other programs to transfer.
And it is probably very hard to get a read on what certain players might do because until another program makes them an offer they cannot refuse, they may have had every intention of coming back to play for USC. This means it's hard to plan ahead, and find replacement players in the transfer portal. I think the Supreme Court ruling has been misinterpreted, and exploited. Yet whoever makes the first move to correct course, is putting themselves at a huge disadvantage because other conferences will gladly take advantage. There needs to be a Havana Conference of all college football conferences, where the formally come to an agreement and parameters they will all abide by.

Dude, they held back the playbook. No deep passes was a choice to be made because they didn't want to show the playbook, not because they can't do it. You're not seeing anything special because the defense was solid and the offense showed no tricks

As a non South Carolina fan who watched their spring game last year, i stated if they could give Rattler some time, he could light it up, well they didn’t, so you didn’t see what he could do at his best. Now again, this Sellers kid will have to run for 1000 yards because of this trash OL. Yall better be prepared to be a running team. Sellers isn’t snywhere near the passer a junior, let alone senior, Rattler was, so he's going to rely early an often on running with this garbage juice looking OL.
