It's crazy to see how far Tekken has come since the original Tekken Tour. So what do you think? Are you excited for Evo this year? How far can Tekken go in the future? As always, thanks for watching! - Esteban
I picked this game up out of random about a year and a half ago because I was bored and tired of shooters. I do not regret it and this game, community, and special moments will stick with me forever. I love this game and I love this community!
I played around with Tekken 4 and 5 back when they came out. Now I am learning Tekken 7 and I am having so much fun with it. I haven't found my main, but have been watching videos here to learn the fundamentals first and go from there. Thank you so much for this documentary on this amazing game series and for this community.
I started taking notes on frame data, punishes and move utility etc. last year and it's improved my game a lot, that plus I'm trying to play with every character. I'm no longer fighting blind...I just have shades on now lol.
I finally found a community that actually likes fighting games but I was an SFV player. They played Tekken 7, Smash but no SFV. Once I got my hands on Tekken 7. I stopped playing SFV for Tekken 7 and haven't looked back. SFV is still a good game to me but Tekken 7 is the best fighting game out. Learning match ups in Tekken 7 is like getting a college degree, but it makes up for it by being an easy game to get into. Can't say the same for other Tekkens.
@@tyrenace6597 Playing Tekken 7 damn near made me cry as I thought about how much better SF V could have been, had Capcom had more love for Street Fighter (and less desire for a microtransaction machine as a live service).
I've been watching Aris for 3.5 years and I've never heard him or anyone else mention that this tournament happened and I am so confused how I managed to avoid hearing about this. This was really fun to watch, thanks for sharing this with us
oh hells yeah. actually i was thinking during this, these tournaments werent nearly as hype as some of the stuff from the last two years, I'd love to see documentary on ceo 2018 or evo 2017-2018
This was an absolute joy to watch. Good shit to all involved. Tekken is by far and away the most entertaining fighting game to watch in my opinion and I'm so happy there are so many great people who continue to watch, support, and create dope content like this because of it.
Hey Esteban, if you ever decide to do another Tekken documentary, it should focus on the Pakistan scene & cover that whole arc that happened all throughout 2019.
Shout out to that dude who fucked me up in Tekken for an hour at Gensis 6. I may have lost ever game but I still perfect that ass one round. Good ass times
1) Me just being a spectator for the game Tekken, this was amazing to watch! 2) The music was spot on imo 3) Really loved the city openings. They were really dope! 4)100% loved the opportunity to see a documentary for Tekken and the American pro players do their thing.
Watch all of it. Amazing documentary, literally a piece of history for a fantastic game that made the history of videogames. For 15 years I play Tekken, and it's unbelivable how far did it go. I'm really happy that it's my favorite fighting game, and I can't wait for EVO. P.S: I hope you doing something like this for the other tournaments. I know it's a lot of work, but it would be nice and interesting.
Great documentary. Does a lot to showcase the history of Tekken 7 especially during the earlier iterations of the tour. Now 3 years later and the game is as strong as ever, if not stronger.
After watching too many marvel movies i instinctively skipped to the end of the credits to check if there were more footage 😭 . But wow i didnt realise this was 2 hours long! Great editing and good movie based on true story 😏😏

I hope that the 2019 Evo main event is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Tekken 7
And Tekken is STILL Growing man. This has been a phenomenal ride on the Tekken hype train so far
Can't wait to see how the road to Tekken 8 will be like soon now that it's announced!
I picked this game up out of random about a year and a half ago because I was bored and tired of shooters. I do not regret it and this game, community, and special moments will stick with me forever. I love this game and I love this community!
Love the vid! But that sample you put in when you went over to Seattle…🔥
Watching this gave me such a nostalgia trip. Its amazing that tekken 7 is 5 years old and still going strong
Time for some good ass Tekken Documentary
Tekken 7 is the Street Fighter IV of this generation. It just keeps growing.
I was thinking the same recently.
Are you saying Tekken 8 will be bad compared to previous tekkens, we all know what came after SFIV, and its noticeably worse then previous SF games
@@ricebeans9779 No, I'm definitely hoping T8 is just as good, if not better.
@@NinjaWorldWarrior16 lmao, I hope the best for the Tekken series too. Such a fine detailed and deep game with a lot to learn and loveable characters
You just said Tekken 7 is a mediocre and overrated game.

Top tier documentary
More top tier than Jin in Tekken 7?
Watching this tour finals started my tekken journey. I had to play tekken 7 after that

RIP Ruby Skye. Jankest, dankest venue I've never had the pleasure of experiencing.
Awesome video
Can't wait to see the sequel to this, with where Tekken is now.
honestly i just want thi game to keep growing, having a sequel doesnt guarantee success, look at SF V
@@JohnnyDarko01 I'm talking more about the documentry rather then Tekken 8. Theres so much Tekken competitive lore now.

Once the music kicked in at 0:18 I already knew that this was gonna be a great documentary. Have I seen this before?
Wonderful documentary highlighting all the North American talent in Tekken. Some of the instrumentals used sounded really dope

@@sesucosegs7901 so i ll see him in august right?
@@Apostolis444 For sure
Tune in on this evo. Aris will be a little downtuned than strong style but it'll still be cool I believe.
I'm 17 minutes in and this is extremely well made. It is very smooth to watch and has a lot of variety and perspectives, which is nice.
*needs more views much love from philippines*

Holy crap you guys got Nacho Picasso on the documentary. If anyone hasn't checked his music out. Definitely do so.
This inspired me to pick up Tekken 7 again ... :)
Tekken Tag 1 and 2 were both amazing. I love having the option to play 4 players. Tekken 7 is ok but the power moves ruin it.
What Tekken is the main entry that's played now, as of May 2021? Tekken 8?
Season 3 HYPE!!

Yoooooo I didn't know sir Mikey fucked with tekken!!?
