Yay!! I'm so glad you did NCT 127!! And it's one-two-seven since you weren't sure lol. Taeyong is the member you kept pointing out. He's the leader of 127 and NCT as a whole. He's also a member of SuperM along with Mark, Ten and Lucas. Plus he just released his first solo album recently. Sticker is probably their most devisive song. You either love it or hate it. For me it grew on me after a few listens now it's one of my faves. You should check out the NCT 127 Killing Voice. It'll give you more of an idea as to their music. A lot of their title tracks had to grow on me 😅 but "Gimme Gimme" "Favorite" pulled me in immediately. Honestly their killing voice gives a better sample of the VARIED discography.
Congratulations you pointed out taeyong for all 3 mvs LOL, he's the leader of NCT 127 as well as the leader of NCT as a whole. I get a feeling he might be one of your biases if you decided to go further into NCT and into other NCT units. You choose a great selction of songs to react to, Sticker is one of their very experimental songs, tbh i love it, NCT 127 as a unit is known for their more experimental style of songs.

Ahhh NCT 127 💚 Sticker did divide fans 😂.. i loved it but i get its not for everyone. I think Taeils voice is the one you picked out in sticker. Like so many groups they have a great versatility of songs and are super talentend.
With NCT units .. at the simplest level - as you said WayV are the chinese set unit, NCT dream and NCT 127 are the other two set units. NCT U is not a set unit, the songs released under NCT U can be with any member of NCT .. so you will have a song with 2 members, 4 or 7 etc whoever suits the song and concept. Then we get NCT albums which have songs froms all units as well the the full group with all units etc. 😅

I think a good choice for your next 127 foray would be their Killing Voice episode. You'll get their live vocals/rapping and a great sampling of their discography. While NCT title tracks primarily will be hype, hard-hitting and a bit more rap-focused, their b-sides run the gamut of genres w/ a particular emphasis on the most beautifully smooth R&B.

Also, NCT's storyline concept is Dreams/Dreaming/Dream-Walking... it's not so much a storyline though, as it is a concept. The phrase that's been used over the years is "The Synchronization Of Dreams", which leads fans to believe it's sorta a long the lines of the movie Inception where they can enter one another's dreams. Frequently, dreaming is mentioned in the lyrics and the members are often depicted as sleeping or waking. So anytime an mv seems kinda out there, it's a pretty good guess it's a dream. 😄

You should react to NCT 127 killing voice. They sing the b-sides and those are even better than some title tracks.

Sticker is divisive. For some its a grower, but it isn't uncommon to dislike it. It was actually brave of you to start with Sticker. If I had to pick a song for you to start with it would have been Kick it.
For Superhuman, NCT is from the company SM. SM is the same company that SHINee is from. They are effectively SHINee's younger brothers. (I don't know if you have also reacted to EXO but EXO is SM as well) SM is a company known for vocals but overall NCT 127 is one of their more rap focused groups. Superhuman was their "Don't forget we are from SM so we can SING." song.
The one that you kept noticing in all the videos is Taeyong. He is the leader. He also released his first solo album recently. For the other members that you noticed, the one with the big voice is Taeil. You also noticed Yuta and Mark.
They have a decent amount of songs now. My MV suggestions are Favorite, Cherry Bomb, Ay Yo and Punch.

whoever suggested sticker... that was... a choice xD imo, its a song really hard to digest and the autotune doesnt help. i enjoy the song, but mainly live performances, i dont really stream it, even when i'm a hardcore chilzen (127stan). That said, rewatching ur reaction, the MV itseld does feel empty, even when u have the added visuals, so ig im so used to the loud sticker cheerings (yes, fans go CRAZY on that song at concerts, like they go really LOUD), and it might be those cheers that make the song feel fuller. And yes, Taeil has my fav vocal out of the group, his voice is so full and his singing style is *chef kiss*
Superhuman is a really nice tt, sadly i think it was paid dust, but i feel that is a grower and it goes well in my playlist, i play it from time to time and i dont think it gets boring like ever xD, funny u mentioned SHINee since i did read somewhere this track was going to them before but idk why it ended with 127
Now kick it, i think that's one of the best MV to introduce 127, the song is very high energy and is instantly catchy. It is the one who made me a fan so im probably biased -I mean i do have other tittle tracks (limitless-favorite without the break-wakywakey-gimmegimme) I like more but i believe 127 gained their most fans with kick it so there's that)
As for the ballads, i do think127 have some nice ballads. The fan's favorite being Back 2 U (deservedly so). I would add Magic carpet ride, Rainy night, white night, gold dust (though this one i havent streamed much lol i think because of time)
sticker really divides opinions, watching the video again my feeling is totally different from yours that emptiness you are referring to is probably what they were looking for, the production I mean, people often say the song grew on me, that means they took the effort to really listen the song, the kpop listener or better the pop listener in general doesn't want that, they want something simple to listen to. Sadly for me, I guess not for you, I don't think they will ever make a song like this again.
I love sticker, it gets suggested because it was one of 127s most successful comebacks some people love it on first listen some people dont.
