I’m literally half way through this video and I WANT THIS GUITAR!!! But my GAS is doing good, so I’ve gotta just put it on the wish list! This axe reminds me of my awesome 2002 Ibanez SA. Plays phenomenal, action like a dream. Plays metal so freaking well. Even if you’re playing clean…it’s just aggressive. That’s why I’m attracted to this guitar! Awesome sauce.
Never had, played or even thought about Kramer guitars.. until now. I really want a purple guitar... REALLY want a purple guitar. Hows the neck/playability stack up to Ibanez?
i like your premise but can you all review a guitar through a combo amp like a boss katana not all of us can afford a marshall rack or a engle fireball just saying
I have an original 1988 stagemaster deluxe 1 in trans red. It’s lite weight and huge in tone. If these new ones are even half as good as the originals I highly recommend getting one. I keep saying I have enough but I can’t help thinking one more maybe? But what? Is the big question. Long live Kramer!
Dagan is about sign a record deal with that thing got dayum! The SM1 is honestly impressive, neck through mostly mahogany, meaty and great sustain, and retailing for about 1100!!! The new soloist is 2700 and I dont think it sounds this good
I'm glad I still have my original Kramer Nightswan Aztec and I picked up a Dave Sabo signature model, awesome guitars. I regret selling my Kramer 300 ST and Focus 1000. I played the SM1 almost bought it over the Sabo model but I'm glad I didn't. I still want an SM1, kinda would like to see one with a dual humbucker and reverse headstock! Hint, hint , nudge , nudge Kramer lol
They make an SM 1 with an added single coil in the middle and neck.But the only problem their cool rails and u can't lower the pickup height which sucks my picking hand always hit the pickup other then that a nice guitar.This SM1 H with one humbucker is way better in my opinion.
@@ghyslainouellet8841 I prefer the single humbucker or dual humbuckers for some reason. I have an old Hamer Californian with a Seymour Duncan Invader and it has the LIl' 59er in the neck position that looks like a single coil, but it's a mini humbucker. It kinda bugs me,, but it's such a fantastic Guitar I don't care in this case lol
@@justin.uwood25 The neck is perfect for shredding and very comfortable. The finish is so smooth and your hand just glides up and down the neck with easy. All I can say it this guitar is very fun and effortless to play. Plus it's very resonate sounding as well like mentioned. I really think they knocked it out of the park here! I'm not going to get into that whole tonal wood thing cause it's such a gimmick to make people spend more money. But if you have the money and want to by a higher quality instrument you don't need to spend more than a grand to get something really solid that you can gig with.
@@marshalltippit7479 hell yeah thanks for the reply! I’ll probably be adding the silver one to my arsenal then. Been looking at so many Floyd rose guitars this one sounds about just what I need and solid build reliability on a guitar
@@justin.uwood25 I was originally gonna get the silver one myself, but I pulled the trigger on the purple one and I dig it. The JB humbucker and a volume knob with the Floyd Rose is all you need and the sky is the limit. So if you do get the silver sm-h1 let me know what you think of if after playing it some. To each is their own, but I'd say this is definitely a fun shred machine hands down!
One more thing... You'll dig the arch top and the cut out along the stomach is nice and makes playing more comfortable regardless of how high you like your axe.
I hate floyd rose's and im not a fan of the whole 80's music scene but recently i find myself loving these guitars, if they did one with a hardtail or a two point vintage style trem id be all over this. would look great next to my Dinky and RG.
I notice he always uses a different amplifier to sell the guitar he is reviewing. Lol. In theory any guitar will sound good in the right amp pedal and player. Lol.

Feels like a Les Paul to me; flat, but thinner, and a little less wide.
