Hey what programs do you use? I'm just getting into it. Trying to learn the ISBoxer program its like calculus. Something goes wrong and it could be a million things. Yours looks like its doing exactly what I want. Just a bunch of alts playing follow the leader in perfect sync.
Hello there, I would like to ask a couple questions in hopes that it will give me some insight to help me level. At the moment I am leveling 8 mages on horde side. I wanted to know what you did to level your characters in terms of questing and such. Did you only pick up Kill quests or did you do some "Kill these mobs and get this many items from them" kind of quests? I find leveling 8 instead of the usual 5 to be quite a bit slower but it could be that I am just having trouble figuring out where to go. I feel I have done all zones I can at level 16 that have to do with just killing. Also one more question. How do you Polymorph the mobs quickly? I figure it is depending on who you put the symbols on but I could not find an addon anywhere that would do that. Thank you for the effort you put into your videos, It is always appreciated.
Hello! So for leveling, i also leveled 8, before i started running 10. Ran around with 2 groups of 4, with 2 separate keybinds for tagging mobs, so I could choose which team got the kill. I just did quests, and skipped no quests - which included some really long-ass quests with hundreds of quest items :p As for polymorphing, the actual markings are completely irrelevant. On ALT-2 i have a keybind for only character #2 to assist my target, on ALT-3 i have a keybind for only character #3 to assist my target and so on, and when i've cycled throuh all the chars i have one button for all of them to polymorph their current target. Will be even better in TBC when we get /focus though, so you can quickly switch back to your previous targets for re-poly.
@@hyperboxing got it. Thank you for the fantastic reply. That's some iron man stuff right there to not skip any quests. Some of those quests can take over an hour to compete with 8 characters. I think I will have to start doing that as well. Well thank you very much.
Yeah it would be a whole other story if you ran 5 - just spam dungeons. I mean in vanilla+classic ALL dungeons except Dire Maul, Scholomance, Stratholme and BRD are 10-man, like you can run deadmines, scarlet etc as 10, but the exp penalty as raid isn't really worth it.
@@hyperboxing Agreed. I have certainly tried that. In a dungeon, I get around 40 exp in a party of 5. In a raid of 8/9, I get about 9 exp. Another question. Do your mages all have the same professions or any at all? I figured I would get engineering on all of them for the aoe dmg but It is a lot of mats.Their secondary would just be gathering.
I just went with Enchanting 1/300 on all of them, except for one that i leveled to max to be able to enchant myself. With 1/300 you can still disenchant every disenchantable item in the game regardless of itemlevel or blue/epic etc - I use this because when questing you get a LOT of BoP quest rewards x8 == loads of enchant mats while leveling, plus when doing quests at max level
I really don't get into the discussions of what classes are "the best" to multibox -- just pick something and keep trying stuff out until you find a combination that you like the most. Everyone's definition of fun is different :)

I have no idea how long it took tbh, the /played is highly inaccurate since i play at work also, and there's a lot of afk:ing involved, so .. i really don't have any way to measure it im afraid
on the altchars: ALT-1, char 1 takes my target, ALT-2 takes my target, ALT-3 takes my target etc, on the mainchar ALT-1 to ALT-8 is just macros for different marks, and then just polymorph when everyone has their own target .. no addon or focus or anything :)

What do you think about 8 Shamans? I'm 60 on 5 and 40 on 3.. should be good as well, whenever i get bored, I level my 7 mages 1 priest ...

Quick question, do you have separate binds for each mage to mark and target something for those 6-8 simultaneous polymorphs?

Why set them up in party? You could just hit them on follow each other. Then you would gain normal xp. Anyway good video.
