They should have been told to not react till she was finished.
As a former ballerina, you can't imagine the strength and balance it took for her to do that and to top it off several plies at the end. Ballet dancers have extremely muscular legs from the tips of their toes all the way to their butts and even after decades of not dancing it never goes away nor does their extreme balance. Yes dancing on point your feet will bleed and its very common to have nails break off but they train you to dance through that pain as it can happen at the drop of a dime during a performance. The old saying the show must go on is a reality. I give this young lady credit as that took months of daily hard work. So Simon you may hate the ballet all you want but it takes a massive amount of hard work and dedication doing movements that are not natural to the body and many bellet dancers suffer decades later because of it. This young lady deserves massive respect cause i know all too well what it took for her to accomplish this task. BRAVO!!!!!

Do you think the last two bottles were deliberate pliès or was she struggling with her balance because of the incredible strength and muscle control required to do this? I've watched it a few times and I still can't decide. But also as a dancer myself, I know that when you're beginning to lose your balance, one way to self correct is by lowering your center of gravity.

@redshoes9548 It sounds like you're being snarky. I wasn't criticizing her. It was a genuine question. The pliè on the very last two bottles appears to be deliberate. But the one just before that looks like she might be losing her balance, you can see it in her upper body as well. I was asking you what you thought. Never said I could do it.

I used to be a ballerina and the leg strengthening exercises we did are no joke. The amount of concentration, core strength, balance, dedication, and self discipline this took her to do this act is beyond amazing.
Most people don’t understand just how much it takes to be a ballerina. We put our entire lives into our dance and keep dancing no matter what. I’ve danced pointe with a broken foot, partially dislocated hip, Achilles injuries, shin splints, etc. It isn’t easy being a dancer, but it’s definitely worth it. If I hadn’t gotten sick I’d still be dancing. My strength and muscles are completely gone now from this horrible illness and it completely destroyed me not being able to dance, but i love watching other dancers and sometimes i close my eye and imagine I’m on stage dancing again.

I can feel my bridges and calfs SCREAMING. Our ballet instructor use to do this with tape on the floor then blocks them blocks with dots on them and I only ever saw one girl complete it and she knocked a block at the end. INSANE strength and concentration
That is insane! She has so much focus and dedication to her job! Amazing ballerina!

My daughter gave up pointe for figure skating, because she needed healthy feet for her favorite sports. Figure skating already gave her feet lots of damages, but pointe is devil.
She's stunning! People fail to realize the level of core body strength needed to perform this. It's far more than her legs, ankles, and feet. This woman has abs of steel! It's truly incredible how someone who has the strength of a bodybuilder can be so gracefull and appear so delicate and feminine. It is truly an art form in many ways!
Now that is the kind of entertainment worth to watch. Dedication, lot of work, focus, and it gets everyone's attention.

Holy cow that leg strength. A lot of people don't understand the strength in the calf muscle to just stand on your toes. So for her to walk on f'ing bottles tips AND squat is such a flex
