      haha Sylvia :-D yes this Rebutia is a wonderful furry one, and its amazing to touch, it feels like stroking a Kitten, this one is definitely my most favourite to repot as it doesn't bit and feels so calm to touch, I almost can imagine it 'purring' haha

    Can I suggest, when you next pot on, insert the old pot in to the new pot, pack soil in around the gap between the two pots, lift out old pot, insert perfect size root ball

      @desertplantsofavalon  Před rokem

      Hi Sarah :-D the good news is this Cactus will eventually grow little pups from its base, this Cactus I bought as a tiny little woolly ball many years ago, it sat still as a single ball for about 5 years and then started to grow pups, I think that only time can make it grow babies, but I bet yours will be pupping out pups in the near future, thanks so much for all your awesome comments and support and for watching Sarah, and sending you tons of love and happiness and PLANT POWER your way for a super Tuesday XXXX

    ThT is a gorgeous cactus ❣Lynn, how did you treat for spider mite? Will isopropyl do the trick?

    • @desertplantsofavalon
      @desertplantsofavalon  Před 6 lety +1

      I used Neem oil and thoroughly soaked the hair with it and then used a tiny clean mascara brush to brush the hairs when the plant was soaked with the Neem mixed with horticultural soap, it looked like I was shampooing it with the foam haha :-D it worked a treat though, and I made sure I repeated the treatment 4 times allowing a week in between, I find Neem work well with spider mites, thanks so much Fiona for your wonderful comment and for watching
