Nice little bird box that. Merry Christmas Phil.
Thanks Steve 👍 Merry Christmas to you too! 🥳🎄
Hi Phill, you do wonders with scrap wood. I like your skills and how you explain in detail. Happy Christmas! 🎄
Thank you Joseph I appreciate your positive comment. Merry Christmas to you 😃🎄
Hello Phil. this is the first time I've commented on your great vids. I watch everyone you produce and I think they are fantastic. Your builds are so simple ( when you show how to do it) and so functional that I am compelled to copy you. The vids you showed the last few weeks (Christmas decorations were really good)I have been inspirational. Please don't change the format, i.e. no music and a voice over, ( so calm) that to me is the best. I wish all the best to you and yours, regards, Fred. P.S. I've just clicked the bell so I don't miss any of your vids.
Thank you for the fantastic comment I really appreciate your support. It's great to hear that people actually like watching the videos it makes it all worthwhile. CZcams can be very hard so it's comments like this that really keep me interested and motivated. Merry Christmas & a happy new year! 😃👍🎄🥳

On the inside of the front plate, you need to fix small twigs which helps the youngsters to grip as they make their way out. Otherwise good tiition
Good idea.
Thank you for the bird box! Can’t wait to see Mexican birds go in there! 🙂
Your welcome hopefully some eggs will be laid 🙂
Oh to have your talents You make it look so easy but I know how long you must have worked to gain such skills .
Full marks yet again .Happy Christmas Phil .👍🌲(It's started snowing here today .Praying it departs ) Greetings from Berlin ...
Thank you very much Helena and a very merry Christmas to you! 🎄No snow here yet only rain 😄🌧️
Great stuff as usual Phil. Have a great Christmas and keep banging out the vids mate 👍
Thanks for the support this year Andy 👍 & merry Christmas to you 😃🎄☃️
Great video. Will get to that I'm the next few days. Don't have your tools but still do able I think? Even for this novice. Merry Christmas.
Thanks Dene 👍 you can do it with mostly hand tools you just need a drill and a Forstner bit or a spade bit to make the entrance hole. Merry Christmas! 🎄😃
@@PhillWyattProjects Yeah. I have spade bits, purchased the Forstner bit to make the tea light whatchamacallits with the wooden blocks from my pallets for the boss lady. Lol.
@@DeneF Yea Dene good call 👌👍😃
Great video, thanks! As I see you got a new drill, what happend to the bosch one?
Thanks Moran 👍 I still have my Bosch drills this is a new drill I am testing out for review. The video about the drill will be out soon.
Morning, Phil - what do you think about protecting wooden bird boxes from the elements? I noticed you used OSB for the front of the box, for example, which I thought didn't fare well against getting wet ... but I know many weatherproofing agents are not good for wildlife.
Hi David, I use most woods for Bird Boxes apart from MDF and chip board. OSB seems to do ok at least for the front. I do use water based fence stains for protection also.
Hi Phil great little build, can I please ask where you get the metal hangers from cheers
Thanks Shellin I got the hanger from my box of bits and bobs. Sorry I'm not sure where it came from originally.
@@PhillWyattProjects no worries thanks Phil what part of brum are you from 🙂
