Carlos King basically told us (and he might have been referring to multiple shows but I feel like it was totally Potomac) that the ladies get together before the seasons start and plan out the season. It's so obvious since the last few seasons that they plan it out the way they do.
at this point, charrisse is evidence hidden in plain sight. everytime she shows up on the show, you know the GEB is plotting. the girls will say "oh monique's exaggerating, there was no plot" as if charrisse wasn't literally dragged onto the show to bait monique into talking about the rumors / allow the girls to continue gossiping about the rumors. and now they're trying it again with karen.
There was a lack of storytelling and coherence.. They kept crafting dramatic moments for virality but it didn't hit. It took the Robyn shenanigans for people to be honest about how bad the season was.
Another thing regarding Gizelle (and the blatant favoritism from production) that I never see anyone bring up is that the previews for the season made it look like Peter was coming on the show to address the dating rumors with Gizelle, but that whole storyline was scrapped in favor of Peter starting the Nigerian restaurant with Wendy. It's so obvious that Gizelle didn't want her dating life aired this season so they didn't air it

Just argue like every other franchise of housewives. We don’t need “scandal” every season.

This season was so terrible because they plotted for the main storylines to be Chris and Eddie being cheaters, and Karen fighting with Charisse. Candiace, Wendy, and Karen did not give them the explosive reactions they wanted so the entire season fell flat. Even Wendy didn’t react how they wanted to being attacked by Mia. Gizelle, Robin, and Ashley are not very bright and they’re not good producers. Great antagonizers yes, producers no. Just do your job and show your real life or get off the show. They give those 3 way too much power and I don’t understand why.

I don't think Robyn should be fired but I think Bravo should be consistent in how they treat HW's who hold back big events of their llives. Kenya got put off the show for a season when she hid her marriage and when she did come back, she was demoted and her pay was docked. Kenya was able to talk about her marriage after she sat out the season. Robyn can do the same, she can talk about it not in season 8, but season 9 after she had sat out. Plus Kenya was not rewarded with a 30 min special for hiding an important life event.
I’m commenting under this video, because the Grammy video for today was taken down. All of these Grammys, being the Urban Contemporary Queen…but couldn’t get AOTY if it meant a 1B check to each voter. Strategic too: they weren’t putting Adele back in the fire, and, while she’d be happy, Lizzo may have walked on, stage gotten the award, walked back off without a speech, and gave it to Beyoncé.

Very well reviewed!! This season is not making any sense, like why are they fighting/arguing in almost all the scenes? Why can't they show them having fun? When they show snippets of them partying, that sounds more fun than all these silly fights/fake storylines etc🙄 and yes, why is Charisse here?🙄.
