hey there! i have a suggestion for making more realistic looking facial hair. You get a tinted brow gel and use them on the baby hair of your face to make facial hair! you gotta be light handed with it bc it’s easier to mess up but totally worth it!
gotta say, you're still valid as heck, acne doesn't make you ugly, but I understand you struggle with it! But you're worth it because heck yes you are. Your jokes are stellar though, the one about how the US hasn't democratised your oil yet got me. This tutorial is amazing, it's slower and it explains it all step by step and you don't necessarily use super expensive stuff!
You are so damn attractive, I love that you aren’t obsessed with acting super masculine just because you are trans. Just found your channel, I will be subscribing, love your content so far!
I enjoyed the tutorial, but it hurt my heart to hear you put yourself down as often as you did! You are wonderful! You get enough crap thrown at you from the world. You don't need to join in by bullying yourself! You are valid and beautiful and perfect, acne or no. Edit: So... Now 2 months later, I realized that "beautiful" is often considered a gendered compliment, which is not how I meant it. I call men beautiful frequently, and did so here out of habit. Just felt the need to put this here...
OMG ITS 3AM RIGHT NOW AND I FOLLOWED IT (except the facial hair part cause im pretty bad at make up and dont have enough "tools") AND OMG IM LITERALLY SHAKING AAAA I LOOK LIKE A BOIIIIIIIII !!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry if my english is bad, its not my 1st language
I'm a ciswoman and I've had a urge to go to work in my bf's clothes and masc makeup and I finally did that today. My own style is very feminine, sometimes a bit androgynous, but I like to try out stuff and jumping into the other end of the spectrum was fascinating. I don't care if people look at me weirdly, when I wear tutu or a witch hat in public, but today I was thinking a lot how I was carrying myself and my gestures etc. Like when I swiped away a little bit of hair from my face, I noticed that my pinkie was very pointy and sticking away from my other fingers and I started wondering is that feminine and do I do that solely, because it's a part of my personality and how huge impact culture has. I wouldn't say, that wearing a skirt to have a silhouette that highlights my waist, is completely nature's giving, but some come there. But yeah your tutorial was very helpful and people at work didn't recognize at a first glance. Makeup is truly an artform.
i love that you made everything a bit more pronounced/intense like the nose contour or brows, makes it easier to understand the general concept at a glance!
Ive been doing makeup for years and you kind of go from using your fingers --> investing in loads of brushes ---> back to using your fingers. you just need two brushes - one for eyeshadow and one for powder contouring. and you can apply everything else with your fingers. the warmth from your hands melts creamy products onto your skin nicely
This is so helpful! I'm an AFAB person and I use she/her pronouns, but I cosplay a lot of male characters and I'm getting into being a drag king. This is a great tutorial!
Dang man you are sooo handsome!! I’m a closet trans man and I suck at makeup but this is really going to help me :) Also a side note, my dad gave me a natural widows peak so now I feel so blessed knowing that it’s much more common in men 🥰
hi! just a little word of advice from someone who's studying cosmetology - that lemon juice toner is making your skin worse!! don't use it! in fact, don't use anything fruity or fragranced on your face if you want to treat acne :) also, avoid clean & clear in general, their stuff is horrible. and one more thing: drugstore makeup is ok but drugstore primers can be bad for your skin! if you don't want to spend on a more expensive primer, opt for moisturizer instead. acne doesn't make you ugly, but if you want healthier skin, hope this helps!
I have never felt so ... good watching a makeup video before. This is wonderful. Thank you for making this tutorial. I can't wait to try some of these.
I don’t type comments that often, but thank you so much for these tips. I tried everything to pass, but it never dawned on me to make fake facial hair with makeup until now. I managed to make good facial hair with a brow pencil and imma go get some stifling sponges to make fake stubble. I don’t have any contour yet, but I look like a male without the contour anyways. I can’t thank you enough and I really look forward to being misgendered less this school year. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am very happy for the tips.
This tutorial is sooo good, i was doing the steps as you talk and i'm impressed! I'm not very good at contour but omg this looks so good for my fist time i even tear up lol, so thanks for posting this video you're perfect. 🖤
I can't use a lot of (or really any) make up on my face because of my eczema so this is wonderful! It's a super natural look and you look stunning! I hope to achieve that same handsome look you have!! I can't thank you enough
You're not ugly, man! You handsome just the way you are, tho I understand the dysphoria and overall having a hard time accepting one's appearance. You are valid, my brother. Love you!
Your jokes are KILLING ME!!!! Omg!!!! The heavenly body one kinda made me chuckle (as someone with pock scars) but America invading to establish democracy in your face???? Oskdkekdkdkdmndkejend Instant sub.
And to add to the chorus of thank yous; THANK YOU!! I'm just starting my journey... I've always been useless with makeup, so, this baby needs all the halp tysm!
Dude, thanks for posting this. My eyebrows are balding, and I've been looking for inspiration on how to fill them in. (It's worth noting that Brad Pitt and George Clooney have RADICALLY different eyebrows, so there's obviously no one-size-fits-all look!)
This is awesome! I watch a lot of makeup, but most of it is feminine (it's pretty, but not what I'm tryna do). This is also, weirdly enough, helpful for my drawing. We love only knowing how to make feminine face shapes, woo.
i wanted to let yu know that i really like your voice here. you sound very much like an old friend i had and i was completely in shock at first because the similarity was too much :)
bro i subbed in the first 2 minutes, you really helped me out with this and just gotta say that your funny AND do tutorials soo yeah bonus, im not falling asleep as im trying to learn your techniques lol, also #closeted trans male here
You said that widows speaks are more occurring in men? Well then I'm one of the luck few females who has that trait according to my mom!🤣😅👍👍 also this whole thing is super helpful!
I’ve been searching for a long time for a great tutorial and I really enjoy how in depth you go. Question, I have a lot of peach fuzz would you recommend removing it before applying the make up ??
Are you of Native American heritage? You sound and look native! Lol looking good! If you’re native, hit me up, it would be awesome to talk to some other native trans guys,
How can you keep it from muddying up and just looking like youre skin tone is 10× darker?when i do heavy contour like this it always looks so bad :( even when blended and such.
I gotten this question a lot, here's my best: -buy a more expensive contour pallete (it makes a difference. My Lorac was $45 and is 5 years old) -start with lightest shade -use a larger fluffier powder brush to disperse, not a brush that comes with the pallete -tap off excess always. Unless it's drag, less is more! -do it in good lighting! -use tip or side of same fluffy brush for darker shades of powder in smaller strokes, closer to edges of face -optional 'veiling': final layer of translucent powder with a pad/puff, then buff with clean powder brush
How can I make myself look like Will Graham from Hannibal the series? his beard is similar to this, please help and thanks in advance for answering me. ❤❤
I love that show!! Use medium brown pencil on the mustache, keep it thinner than you think. Very light pencil for his goatee area.. I wouldn't use pencil for the cheeks, but a light brown mascara and drag it in little downward motions all over. Use clear cello tape to line off the top of the cheeks, he's got sharp lines.
Since I can't have short hair this will be very helpful living has a closeted trans male
not your pfp
🤭 woops.
you can also tie it into a ponytail and pull it over your head and then put on a hoodie
Or try to get a slightly masculine and slightly feminine haircut!

You said what I was thinking he is just being himself without putting on a front Also not every guy is hairy so this works with what he's doing
So that means he was a girl before?

Heh, Same! :)
Same here, though I have been openly gender fluid for a while.

As a pre testosterone trans guy with a lot of acne, and a rounder face, you are a lifesaver! Thanks :)
i love that you made everything a bit more pronounced/intense like the nose contour or brows, makes it easier to understand the general concept at a glance!
A facial hair tip I've realized recently: Most people with short facial hair have a little gap in the middle of the mustache, where the cupids bow is.
Big Thanks from a masculine, aspiring drag king
