Great video, the 2nd room pull highlighted what I think are the easiest mistakes to make as a new player trying big aoe pulls... 3rd room also highlighted mistakes that most videos gloss over. Great job explaining all the information. Looking forward to the next tutorial video.
i love videos like this, in the title is says no gear requirment but not even the first minute hes talking about gear hm
only gear i talked about was trinkets which i said were optional. only requirement is minor speed enchant, which is like 10gold on the AH and can be put on any rarity of boots, and glyph of blink which is 1gold on the AH

If you're not used to tab targeting there's an addon so that in PVP your tab target swaps between player targets but when you're in PVE it'll swap everything.

Awesome guide dude. Honestly I don't get the people complaining in the comments about gear and literally anything else. I'm 70 with normal WOTLK greens, bought those glyphs for 1g each, I don't use the build you recommended just standard TTW and I don't have any problems at all. I will say just being a good gamer with a brain that's actually turned on is what really makes everything work, if you don't have a brain don't even bother doing this.

This is so frustrating, I'm doing as well as i can but I can't get a full go around the first ring without being killed, I managed to clear it once, but only got like 6xp per mob, so i clearly did something wrong

No gear requirement...but dude is decked in full epics and spends the first part of the video talking about all the gear you need :(. Trying to do this as someone who's just questing in greens and has no extra gold to spare looks very different.
my living bomb is doing way less damage than yours, any idea why? full pvp set, pvp staff etc living bomb rank 2 and same talents but is doing like 300-400 dmg when expire
pots enchants anything that increases spell power plus having the glyps means the ticks can crit

I have done this A LOT and have a few points for people who are here 11 months later:
1) You don't really need that much crit so the trinkets and epic gear isen't necessary. I sit on 14% and that is enough to do it, especially if I make the 3 mana gems to help me if I have unlucky streak.
2) If you wanna do this safer, you do it with Ice armour and ice armour glyph, you can then take a few hits without dying and it have saved me on several runs. Good to do when you are learning the pull.
3) You can pull the first pull and second pull in 1 pull. This is a bit harder to do and requires quite a bit of practice, but gets easier from around 72, when the mobs don't have so long aggro-range. See here: czcams.com/video/uz_58C74KGI/video.html
4) Be careful when you blink. The small "ramp" that goes around in a circle in the first big room can bug out if you blink into it from lower ground. When blink is around 2-3 seconds on CD left, stop casting living bomb, turn the camera and make sure you don't blink "into" the ramp. Also be careful you don't blink into boxes / crates, especially one of the ruined and "opened boxes".
5) if you struggle with mana at the end when most mobs are dead and you don't get much back, remember the mobs are very slow, so you can evocate if you have a bit of distance.

Bro, using regular spells is not proccing. It's just using a spell. A proc is something like executioner or mongoose activating from a melee weapon, or clearcasting.

@@Aeghis yeah you proc clearcasting because its a chance on hit, you don't proc a blink.
@@Aeghis You said, "proc a blink", and "proc a mana shield". Praeus is saying, that is not a proc, it is just a regular cast. Proc is something that you don't control. Proc is not cast, cast is not a proc.

You can with smart blinks and using your cc, very easy. Already 76 doing this
the second pull i cant do, using auto run to make sure u go straight helps

so i can do the pull, i can kite perfectly, not take damage, etc, but i run out of mana when theyre all about half health and just cant do anything after that. idk what im doing wrong
You should have the return mana from crits talent along with 50% mana regen. Seen a guy do this with just a staff and boots on and he maintained 70-100% mana.

yep. ive done it with most pieces unequipped. its a lot harder and way less efficient and you cant make a lot of mistakes in terms of being damaged, but its possible
thx for the guide sir , in my case i often die because of the first hit slow , luckily i have friend that can made Swift potion ,i use 2 per run ,its a bit costly but its guaranteed clear so im ok with that.
attacks on u with mana shield up will also prevent the slow

Worse than questing but not by a mile. Also, considering it's faster exp, meaning you're gonna get 80 sooner hence have access to endgame gold making sooner too you could argue it's better goldwise in a sense!

I don't understand why the mobs outrun me. They out sprinted me while i had a prock of Blazing Speed. And i've boots enchanted. What am i missing? I did everything step by step as u advised and still get shit on. Do i not have enough haste for blink gcd? I just can't escape that last pack in first fight.
in the first fight you can always use db and blast wave to knock them off you

idk why they didn't nerf such easy way to farm. In SP u at least had to run 9999km in case of death and it was way longer and difficult
Well so many classes can solo UK, they can't just nerf mages they'd have to nerf arms prot and pala and warlock etc and then people would just find another way(like if people thought these farms were bad world first 80 this time was a guy using despawning mobs that give full xp if you tag em before they disappear lol 8hrs...)

This doesn't seem to work. Even with all the movement buffs and going in straight lines the mobs gain on me way too damned fast.

Yeah, less gear just means it takes longer. And if you are having mana issues, switch the Evocation glyph to Living Bomb glyph, then you get way more mana back since each tick of living bombs burn can give you mana for critting

Just keep going mage farms are all repetition, it feels like a waste to learn it sometimes but eventually it will click and payoff. The more of them you learn the quicker you pick up others then too

Yeah but then you’re hitting lock out timer. I’m stretching my runs out to 15min to avoid the timer.
