I think there is a cap on how much the enemy’s can drop on a level, like only 3 coins per level or something like that Edit: forgot to mention it can change, when I played I got more money from the Sydney opera house than the Statue of Liberty after I killed 25 enemy’s (I tested twice btw)
You could just fill all tentacles with porcupines except maybe one to keep the angler, cuz since the angler does the same damage as the lobster claw at close range anyway and has insane range then filling all the spots with porcupines is pretty much all you need then the only thing you really need to focus on is turning so that the angler hits the invisible enemies or so that you can hit something there, otherwise you can just stand still.
for the shell shop you get it when you run out of lives not hearts before you click a level you will see the amount of lives above the click to continue word

The way to dodge bullets is to turn. Your neck is shorter so you have to turn.
I believe with the underwater bosses when they shoot you can dodge by facing the bullet with chin. If i am not wrong.
