True , that's really bring back nostalgia 😭 that's what i frist thought this song really like 90' song, and also TM revolution are senior singer too since im kid watching ruroini kenshin anime. With the opening song "Heart of sword" . Thats i start to love and fans him. Im glad hoyo bring him to the game as itto 😭😭😭

It's such a great timing hearing him sing in Genshin after watching Gundam Seed Freedom. FREEDOM was such a banger and Takanori's voice is magical as usual
His second band Abingdon Boys School is my favorite band of all time and pretty much my main inspiration for making music. They are more rock focused than his pop stuff.

Bruh i am a big fan of TMR and ABS, when i heard Takanori will voice Itto, i was like "that's it I'm pulling for him, don't care what people said". I only now realized why they’re singing about red flowers (instead of rosy skies)… dendrobium, which grows on battlegrounds where a lot of blood was spilled, which fits with the rest of the song :c the lyrics are goofy but they’re also really sad
Since the song is about animals killed during the war and them reincarnating as a peacefully living onikabuto after the war is over, and the battlefields are covered in dendrobium which bloomed from the blood. And together with Ei and Miko’s conversation in the very end, and “upside-down” in the title of the song which was already mentioned a few times, this event gives me a really bittersweet feeling, I will probably look back at it in like two years and cry orz I don’t want everyone to be thrown into the warrr and especially not the Arataki Gang, comedy relief delinquent characters suffering always breaks my heart so much, they’re just so pure 😭
@@rencotori probably you already know this but there is a letter from Heizo that the animals in the song are codenames used by the puppy union. Puppy union is a joint project by Watatsumi and Yashiro commission to assist unrelated people during the war. The animals used are the destination of those people. Unagi = Fontaine, Weasel Thief = Liyue, Bakedanuki = Inazuma, General Crab = Watatsumi.

This is where it really clicked to me that Itto's VA is TM Revolution.
I like to imagined this as Aoi Koga and Takanori Nishikawa beefing it out in the recording booth
And this is why TMR is by far the best voice actor for Itto in the whole bunch and suits him the best, the devs definitely had TMR in mind during concept and it shows 😂
itto singing in jp is easily the best version out of all languages, change my mind.
Of course, he's Inazuman so the Japanese would be the best version of him as their nation is based in Japan.

I really hope they do more cutscenes like this. This looks like i step below the usual big budget ones they do which means they could do it more consistently, and it seems like its done in engine rather than a CG type with extra production value. But its all thats really needed. Fantastic

JP VAs had an unfair advantage that every country outside of east asia don’t had, voice acting schools, to be a VA in japan is way harder than any country without voice acting schools, you learn how to excel perfectly in any character role for any jp VA, no only that you need to sing, perform live on stage, you also need to excel hard in saying tongue twisters, as singing in crazy hard tongue twisters. There are so many things to keep in mind there are also radio talk shows, doing animal roles and excel hard in it.
But Itto's VA is not a seiyuu, he has always been a singer. It's his main career for more than 20 yrs. Voice acting is just a side gig that he takes once in a while. So, what you just said doesn't apply to him.
Edit : And no, not everything you said is entirely true. Yes, a lot of them are multi-talented (usually can sing) but that's not really the requirement because some of the most well-known jp voice actors can't sing at all, for example Sugitan. He can't sing and dance.
No idea what you're on about, Itto's VA is voiced by Takanori Nishikawa, aka T.M. Revolution. Who is primarily a singer, a fair few of his voice roles are as a cameo because he did an opening or ending for whatever anime he's in.

sugita is already on different generations when most seiyuu back then don't really need to do "idol thing" like singing and dancing Nakamura yuichi also doesn't sing that much
if you want an example for someone who is popular without doing "idol thing" is probably ishikawa kaito (he still has chara song but it doesn't count)

Even the old gen seiyuu sometimes has the requirements to be able to sing at least as an optional so the studio didn't need to hire additional singer for their OP and ED anime. The most popular name are Horie Yui who debut as seiyuu in 97 and then a singer the year after. Some of them even takes the singer job seriously and became famous (for example Imai Asami and Maaya Sakamoto). Well of course not all the seiyuu need to be a singer, but because the industry need to adapt to the times now it became one of the requirements
