full version? i really love the guitar sound selection and the lil drum sizzle in the verse. and the drop's fckin beautiful, i've also heard lots of illenium songs with these kind of high reverb snares and hihats. however i do think that there's too much reverb in the drop, which is to me kinda muddy. but great representation of illenium's style bro

All this is great but what’s under the hood? How is this routed to busses etc, the elements that make the song are repeated in so many videos but the gain stage and mixing is what I need to see so I can compare it to how I’m currently bus and group routing in the mixer

what is the song that you used to introduce all the different parts of the tutorial?
First of all, amazing drop, build-up is small yet creates an actual build-up pretty much perfectly. Sencond of all, I have a question. Whenever I try to do this my chords, bass, leads, they all kinda mush together and I'm left with a whole scale instead of different parts of a drop. This one is clean, yet mine always sound like there's 15 bars doing the same thing, just an octave lower or higher. Any idea how I could fix this?
Have you tried cleaning a bit of certain Frequencies? (like EQ). Some elements will work together as a whole but other sounds can make different outcomes so as much as you can, try and find different sounds that will blend together. Also try different notes on your scale that will actually work on your chord progression instead of trying to add random keys.

At around 8.27 in the video you have Chords on screen for an "Amped Electric Guitar" but for the life of me i cant seem to find out how you achieved this chug chug sound on the guitar with using those chords because my chords all seem to just play flat. How did you manage to achieve this affect?

@@Novus-music yeah I saw that comment. I don't currently have Nexus and so I'm assuming the chug chug noise produced is exclusive to that plugin as I tried to replicate it using Guitar Rig 6 but couldn't get the same effect. Thanks for your reply though man much appreciated 🙏

Amazing, I’d just clean up the vocal processing a tad bit. But amazing work. I also would have liked to see the actual verse and build up section with drums fill up the frequency spectrum more. Neaten up the mix there slightly, by frequency separation of every single layer, and you can then master the fuck out of it to make it sound rich! Really good techniques and tips though! You got it
I've actually used some illeniums track to match some of the frequencies and noise patterns when it comes to mixing and mastering, thanks for the feedback btw I guess everyone has something different to offer when it comes to listening for something off in the mix

IN THE INTRO, ON YOUR WIND SAMPLE U HAVE USED... THERE ARE SOME LINES SHOWING WHICH ARE PRODUCING A GUITAR KINDA SOUND HOW U COULD CREATE IT?
Oh haha if you mean the ambient and background frequencies that the wind noise is producing its just from the sample itself and noise from the actual sound. But if were talking about the tonal ambiance, it's played on a certain key of the song itself but with a drone layer creating that illusion of a guitar sound.
@@Novus-music np no i'm not talking about tonal ambience, look at the wind ambience on track 33 itself..there are 5 lines showing exactly above of the wind.....which is producing some kinda guitar sounds.....how could u do that ?

@@Novus-music I'd suggest using a softer drop, idk if you watch Elation but his transitions are very similar to yours but the sound he uses is less distracting. Not comparing you two in terms of production tho youre both great.

I hav only one problem..how I can fatten up my drop saws 🥲
It doesn't always have to mean that you need fat saws, just a couple of detuned chords that are at a proper volume level then the rest of your frequency fillers will do like mid basses and sub bass, just don't go overboard
