- Let's get ready to Cookie Rumble!!! Clashmas is here and Cookie Rumble is the sweetest event of the season. Raid enemy Villages to collect Sweet Elixir and unlock delicious rewards like the Ram Rider and C.O.O.K.I.E temporary troops. Or give your attacks some chill with the Bag of Frostmites Spell. Collect Cookie Medals to spend at Trader's shop to get the Epic Hero Equipment, Giant Gauntlet or the Gingerbread King skin. But don't put your battles on ice as this limited time event will soon thaw out!

The Three random buildings are anything. Reason this was done is because They were disappointed that in Halloween, people only cared about the cauldron. They want us to Three stars now for loot

If they make an event like this every 3 months or so that will keep the player base alive. Really enjoyed the Halloween event. Glad to see another one.
I would say they learned from the Halloween event and now with the pass (i think 5$) you will be able to get more than just the equipment. Really great improvement.
@@evilshadowshadow1249 Yep people saying it is pay to win, like you can't get rewards being free to play, you can still get the epic hero equipment and a lot of ores to upgrade it, so I don't see the complaints
I don’t think y’all understand how hard it will be to upgrade these … it’ll be atleast 4 or 5 months till you can max 1 of these out and by then there will be 2 more out and the pay to wins will already have them maxed

As long as no equipment is ever locked behind a paywall, I’m all for this kind of event. Hopefully the equipment will be in the shop for gems as soon as the event is over.
You can get the Equipment with the free event pass

@@chonisautodetailingYou should be able to get enough cookies to buy the skin. There are bonus cookies at the end. The same as the Halloween event. However I recommend getting the gauntlet as the skin is purely cosmetic.

Two new troops that destroy walls in one hit, great! I really want to keep upgrading my decorations(Walls). 😊😊
Honestly I still upgrade them, but usually with just extra resources. Then mass upgrade when I'm around max for my TH.
Not upgrading them makes my bade look.. weird.
Also, even though so many troops have ways to avoid walls now, they're still useful. Imagine your base without the walls, or even level one walls. But yea.. root riders just sees them as decorations

Idea for the walls since a lot of units tend to bypass the walls, give the walls some sort of weapon or trap to help them be more useful.

you can buy both by buying that Christmas pass, if not you have to choose one or another.

Doesn’t having this hero equipment only available during the event make it unfair for new players or players who can’t play this event? Or are you going to make them pay real money to unlock it, thus making the game pay to win
many people are concerned about not getting skin and equipment both as f2p. As a f2p player that shouldnot be our concern. The main concern is about the epic equipment. It means that in future there will be hero equipment's that can be bought and this will automatically destroys the game.
And iam missing the og coc that had the guts to say no to community if that imbalances the game. If you look now they are providing with you highly overpowered heroes equipments, pets and troops. The game is adding unnecessary things. I think frequent updates and events are necessary but in permanent change also they are experimenting casually.

I like how Supercell cares about enjoyment of their players. Not like other games where they do not experiment anything in the name of Game Balancing, instead Supercell adds a spinning cookie that can one shot Town Hall and Barbarian King simultaneously.

Thank goodness there doing another one the Halloween one was the reason why I got back into this game again before that I would just login the game 2 or 3 times a month or something like that then collect my loot cart and collecters than upgrade what ever I can afford and call it a day

More than a decade and I will never stop loving this game. The events, the atmosphere, no p2w and no toxicity
the Epic equipments bring an element of p2w though, since over the years supercell has never been a FOMO driven game. now if you miss the event, you will have to spend gems to get the equipment some time in the unknown future.
Basically twists the game in favor of who was active and when.a shift away from grind and catch up that was the usual theme.

@@SendisHerethe free pass gives you access to all the game stuff. Nothing is behind a pay wall. It is not p2w by any reasonable definition.
They could introduce "magically fortified walls" which can not be destroyed by spells or units only by siege machines. Players could choose from geometrical shapes (like cross, rectangles, deltoid etc. like in Tetris), but the magically fortified walls could not touch each other (like in Torpedo). Players could unlock more and more sections with higher town halls and upgrades. The attacker could see some or all of these wall pieces. Maybe a new spell or passive aura could reveal the hidden ones. This new type of passive defense could shake-up the strategies and give back the meaning of upgrading walls while it could give fun on lower town halls too.
What about troops that go above or under them? Would they work normally?

Only one concern though. Among the reasons CoC is a game i keep coming back to is that i can without being disadvantaged for taking a break. Will epic equipment make this impossible or will it make it p2w to compete favourably in case a player misses one of these events?
Unfortunately right now it looks like coc is starting to go done the p2w road. There is another pass with this event that gives free to play players a massive disadvantage. Just unfortunate to see.
