During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

There are some things that I love about the G class
1. The sound that the door makes when you shut it
2. The engine sound (regardless of trim level)
3. Its boxy military-like looks
4. The AMG G63.
Well it's a military truck, been around since 1979/
i used to hate how this thing looks but as i watch it i just fall in love with it, idk what the hell it is but im obsessed with this vehicle for no explainable reason haha

The exhaust note alone is damn near worth the price of admission. A guy who works in the same building as me has a G63. When he pulls into the garage, I can't even explain how beastly that thing sounds. It is insane.

Looks much better than 2019 version
Despite it's many faults there are absolutely no analogues to this vehicle. It packs decades of history and knowledge from the master craftsmen of Mercedes Benz. It has a strong energy surrounding it. The driver is empowered by it, while others are horrified by it. Not every simple mortal can handle this type of beast, and nor everyone should - the G Class is made for the few chosen. So lets just take every moment possible, to admire this great piece of automobile glory.

Please forgive me for putting things out of context - I wasn't really aware of the situation concerning the drivers of the G-Class in the States. Talking from (East) Europes perspective, however, it is to note that mostly successful people are to drive this machine. This things cost a ton over here, and when money is a specifically a hard thing to get around, I have nothing else to do, than to admire the successful people that let themselves own this car. Oh, and then there's, of course, the mafia, which only reaffirm the horrific stance of this vehicle.

im more a 9-3 guy. I really like the merc w203s as far as saloons go, although my favorite body style is the wagon.
i live in the US and the w204 never came as a diesel. :( I currently have c230 kompressor w203 with the rare (for the US) 6MT. my other car is a 9-3 wagon, but am hunting for a viggen.
I'm hunting for a 9-3 viggen, not a plane haha. I had an 88 325ix and it was quite fun. I took it to the mountains to ski but then it became more trouble than it was worth so i upgraded to the 9-3 wagon with awd. I want to swap the wagon for the viggen because i don't really have a need for wagon anymore and since I live in a city, the added length limits the number of parking spots I can fit in.
This car will never change. Everyone always have favorite cars but with time their favorite car model changes in appearance. I've been asking Klye for this car review forever! Thank you.

Agreed! The Designo Palladium Matte Gray is equally stunning. The two tone Designo Light Sand Brown Nappa leather is pretty darn awesome too. Fully loaded at 153K (incl. matte paint, Designo diamond embroidered leather and carbon fiber dash) it's not a bad expense spread over 10yrs and will still be a visually stunning vehicle, even then.

almost impossible to remove it. it is so deeply integrated with the electronics that if you remove it, you will end up failing all the electronics and i am not joking.
I see these quite frequently at a prestigious golf club/country club i work at. But i can only look from a distance while a carry some millionaires golf clubs. And trust me. Nobody who has the money to buy an r8 is on youtube commenting on random videos... There working.

I have never owned a honda but i am pretty sure they do albeit not too much. every car requires torque to me and it is the torque that move the car by putting pressure on the crank shaft and the transmission which is connected to the cahssis.
#AJ 15 almost all Honda are transverse front wheel drive so there is almost no body movement however there is torque steer
yes its an all terrain vehicle. but we all know whoever buys it will never take it off road.

EverythingToday The G65 is useless and dumb, worth like the double, the only thing that changes is the motor and have the same acceleration than the G63 and use more gas.

11:30 5.5L V8? Are you sure that's right? Usually the "63" in the model name denotes a 6.2L under the hood on MB's other models (C63, S63, E63, etc.) I supposed it could have a 5.5L and they call it the G63 since it is turbo'd. Kinda confusing.
The 6.2 was replaced in favour of the more fuel efficient 5.5L biturbo its been about 2-3 years now.
My dad had one of these SUVs and it felt great to ride it,even as a passenger.
i can only hope that some day ill make enough money to drive this amazing car

I am one of the few that gets to drive this car on occasion. My brother in law bought a 2015 model that looks almost exactly like that, but red diamond interior with more matte trims. This beast is something unlike any other car, let alone just mercedes. Even though it has power steering, this 3 ton hulk of a car has heavy steering. The biturbo v8 makes this car plow through gas as if it was a person in the desert who has discovered water. Unlike other cars that accelerate and push you back, this car sinks you into the ground, it feels like it eats the tarmac. This vehicle is something only the toughest of people should try out driving. I'm not kidding. If you arever even slightly intimidated by this car, do NOT drive it. You just won't understand the trueness of the engineering and solid build with your fear. This car is 140k of pure masculinity. One of a few unique car models in the world.

I love cars of all types but this is my dream vehicle. Just doesn't suit my life driving a sports car that depreciates year by year. whereas this bad boy holds it value like crazy, is fast, luxurious, easy to get into, can drive all year around ( I'm a Canadian eh) and reliable enough to last you your life.
Fact. Theres a guy who went travelling around the world in his for 26 years. Never broke down once. Worth every single penny.
