Interesting. If you see Stannah's video of it, it says it can be MRL traction or hydraulic with a small cabinet outside of it but you usually only find hydraulics. Nice vid :)
jdtayloruk that door arrangement is in adjusted, but other combinations can be done, like have 3 doors on each side, but the 4th side is always going to be where the car operating panel is, because, who would make a lift with that many exit and entry's there.

I think they've been doing them for a few years if you check the website. Strange though they've installed two doors on each floor.

This lift is located at the new Holland & Barrett Manchester. I got caught by security whilst I was filming this once!
