Great offball and onball defender, quick hands and feet, strong enaugh to deal with more physical players, and he brings energy into the game since the first second hes on the field

His intangibles and court IQ are tops in the league. He won't wow you with his stats but he will with his highlight reel. Smart is the ultimate pest, no wonder Ainge loved him.

A peaked Marcus Smart is an equivalent of a WASHED UP Kevin Garnett or Paul Pierce. He dont even on the same level with WASHED UP Larry Bird or Kevin McHale.

He's shooting 38% from 3 in the Raptors series. I can say that he's definitely improved on that part.

love this guy, love his energy passion and devotion，defense highlights could be so appealing and fantastic.
I remember in the playoffs one year he was physically handling Paul milsap in the paint. From that point on i knew how great of a defender he was.
Imagine you got a point for a steal, block, and forcing a shot clock violation. The league’s defensive effort would be so much better.
One of the best consistent players in the league overall. So happy to have him in Boston

Man people forget how good the Celtics were this season before the pandemic. Kemba was an all-star, Gordon was averaging 16-5-5 ish and was the fourth best player on the team. We were rolling before the big shut down and Kemba's all-star game injury.
